Job Summary:
The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate prior revenue results and leadership qualities with a minimum of five (5) years of direct sales experience in the sports multi-media environment. The candidate must be driven and coachable to execute the Playfly Sports Properties revenue model and to understand the distinctive relationship with Villanova Athletics, which has created a new standard in collegiate multi-media rights management landscape.
Successful candidate will work out of the Villanova Sports Properties offices on campus and be motivated to:
- Work with the Athletics Director/ Senior Staff at Villanova Athletics and Playfly Sports Properties senior level staff to pitch and close enterprise partnership agreements
- Lead and manage Villanova Sports Properties staff, setting the example for best practices.
- Prospect, meet and close a significant number of new and renewal high level corporate sponsorships
- Generate incremental sponsorship revenue to meet and exceed individual and team goals
- Uphold and support by example a culture of hard work, creativity – always building team belief in the revenue goal
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help develop and execute a sales plan to meet and/or exceed assigned annual revenue targets
- Identify potential sponsors for Villanova Sports Properties through networking with Villanova stakeholders and business partners, researching local, regional and national companies, and selling them marketing platforms that incorporate sponsorship inventory including entitlements, signage, the digital assets, print, promotion, community involvement and hospitality.
- Work with Playfly Sports Properties and Villanova Athletics executives to create sales inventory, revenue projections and overall sponsorship strategy for Villanova Athletics assets.
- Develop compelling sales presentations for new marketing partners by incorporating research, category dynamics and a clear understanding of partner’s marketing goals.
- Manage and professionally develop the Villanova Sports Properties staff with the objective of creating standards and assisting with achievement of their property individual goals.
- Lead and manage the overall sales process from start to finish (create proposals and draft/negotiate contracts).
- Develop key marketing objectives with clients via thorough needs assessment and a collaborative sales process.
- Entertain and cultivate sponsors in various settings.
- Be available for game days and evening athletic events and coaches shows.
- Be available to travel for client presentations.
- Prepare end-of-year recaps for sponsors.
- Represent Villanova Sports Properties, Villanova and Playfly Sports Properties in a professional manner.
- Research sports sponsorship industry and stay current with relevant market trends and conditions.
- Manage P&L for maximum revenue and efficient costs.
- Oversee management of radio network (terrestrial, digital) and supervise the respective broadcast talent.
- Understand and leverage Playfly resources such as Esports, High School, Home Team Sports, Premier Partnerships, etc. in order to leverage new business areas, leads, and categories.

Under direction from higher level Police Department supervisory or management staff, perform law enforcement and crime prevention work; control traffic flow and enforce State and local traffic regulations; perform investigative work; participate in and provide support and assistance to special crime prevention and enforcement programs; establish, grow, and preserve positive relationships between the community and the Police Department; and perform a variety of technical and administrative tasks in support of the department.
Distinguishing Characteristics:Classes in this series are distinguished by the level of certification attained and years of experience. The Police Officer classification requires the possession of a P.O.S.T. Basic Certificate and involves the performance of the more routine duties assigned to positions within the series. The Loan Officer plays an important role in the organization by performing a variety of activities directly related to the company's Production functions. The role is primarily responsible, under moderate supervision, for providing quality relations with borrowers through completing the origination processing of application, loan disclosure, review files for adherence to underwriting standards, ensuring completeness of submission to processing. Contacts borrowers to collect necessary documentation and act as a liaison between origination staff, underwriters and customers.
Essential functions include:

Qualifications include:

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Account Manager is responsible for all day-to-day operations of assigned clients. Key responsibilities include ensuring all assigned trucks and personnel are on-time, on-site, and loaded with the proper equipment to meet client needs and ensure successful broadcasts in addition to preparing accurate and timely invoices for all assigned events. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day-to-Day Operations
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to client account management; build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Serve as key liaison between all Game Creek personnel and assigned clients for all pre-show and post-show activity
- Proactive acquisition and handling of production paperwork; input show requirements for all assigned events into GCV scheduling program and manage accuracy of venue notes, change of venue names, venue/client contact information, and hotel information; manage credential requests in conjunction with Human Resources when applicable
- Communicate personnel requirements with crewing companies nationwide
- In conjunction with Operations Manager, update equipment templates as needed
- Communicate and work closely with venue personnel regarding mobile unit ETAs, credentials, and P&P times
- Partner with clients that book hotels directly for Engineers and Drivers to ensure that dates, times, and assigned personnel are correct; collaborate with road staff to minimize travel expenses when possible
- Ensure client equipment levels match GCV contract levels and alert clients of any additional charges that may be incurred for specific equipment use; directly communicate with Engineering to ensure correct equipment is on mobile unit prior to show; work with Logistics to solve outstanding equipment issues, such as truck shortages and/or replacements for damaged gear
- Work in partnership with Logistics and Engineering to gather information regarding damaged/missing equipment while in client’s possession to ensure charges are appropriately reflected on invoices
- Serve as advocate for assigned clients and associated staff; proactively identify potential issues or challenges and escalate to management; offer solutions as appropriate
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with all internal and external parties; travel to remote locations 2-4 times per year and meet with Engineering Managers, Engineers, Drivers, and clients to strengthen relationships and obtain critical feedback in order to improve the overall service offering

Invoice Generation & Management
- Partner with the Expense team to execute timely and accurate invoice processing across all assigned shows using a 5 day prior-to-event deadline for base quotes and a 1 day target deadline for finalized invoices
- Accurately assemble invoice template with base price, overtime rate, mileage, and additional equipment/staffing, if applicable at least one day before the show
- Following show completion, fill in additional equipment (added day of game), overtime, and missing & damaged equipment to base invoice
- Send completed base invoice to Expense team and share any relevant travel information he/she may need for final processing
- Review final client invoices for accuracy and submit for processing within 10 day timeframe

- Monitors status of projects including cost, timing and staffing to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.

Complexity:
Every project is different, and project stakeholders are different. The SPM needs to negotiate a very complex set of variables between system design, site conditions and a widely varying set of expectations with multiple stakeholders.The skill of communicating both verbally and in writing to manage all these variables takes a very high level of awareness, emotional intelligence and people management skills.The SPM is constantly managing the forces of change in every project environment. Balancing schedules, budgets, scope, quality and client satisfaction are a very complex set of variables.

- Communicates decision options to stakeholders and manages those decisions.
- Manages a complex array of decisions at every point of the project but is rarely the sole decision maker.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that may be met by an employee.The employee may be exposed to construction site conditions on a regular basis.Employee will be responsible for their safety while on job sites and to comply with all safety regulations in place by the GC. Use of PPE is usually required on job sites.The employee can typically spend at least 40% of their time on their feet and be required to mobile around the construction site.The employee must have the ability to occasionally climb ladders, use stairs and lift and/or move materials up to 20 pounds in construction areas.The individual is regularly required to use keyboards, test equipment and controls required for SI installation projects.Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth vision.When not on construction sites, the employee will experience normal office conditions and be required to use office equipment such as computers, peripherals, etc.
Travel:
Travel by car and occasional airplane trips are required. Employee must possess a valid Ontario driver's license. Travel to job sites will make up 20-40% usually with the remaining time in an office or remote setting.
Safety:
- Maintain and wear appropriate PPE as the job and tasks require it.
- Ensure hazards are addressed and rectified in a timely manner.
- Participate in incident investigations and reporting.
- Conduct safety walk-throughs on project sites.
- Prepare safety paperwork as needed including but not limited to JSA, and Site safety Plans.
What You'll Bring:
Education & Certifications:
- Associates/Bachelor's degree PREFERRED or equivalent experience.
- AVIXA CTS Certification required or completed within 1 year of starting the position.
- A PMP certification from the Project Management Institute, preferred.
- Other relevant certifications may be required or preferred based on the technology focus of the position.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in systems integration is required, with 3+ years in project management.
- Deep knowledge and experience with media and entertainment or broadcast systems.
- A valid Ontario driver's license
- Knowledgeable of low voltage electrical projects.
- Strong financial background in project cost accounting.
- The Project Manager shall have the ability and skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical, political and people related problems.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in systems integration, with 5+ years in project management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Supervisory and people skills.
- Great people leadership skills.
