The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing sales rep to join our event team! As a 1099 Event Sales Representative, you will be responsible for setting up and working the Marc Pro booth at local youth sporting events. Our growing event team is focused on creating brand awareness, engagement, and product sales within the youth sports community. The ideal candidate is someone who has excellent communication skills, a desire to sell the product, and an athletic background (athlete, coach, or trainer). This is an independent contractor (1099) position on an as-needed basis. Hours and working days vary for this position. Events typically take place over the weekend and range from 1-3 days. You will be working on average, 6-15 events per year depending on schedule and partnerships. You’ll review our event schedule with the Event Manager to determine which ones you are available to work. In addition to the set schedule, other events may be added throughout the year that you may choose to work. This role is flexible, without any minimum or maximum time commitment for the number of events worked.

The Job

- Booth setup: Transport booth materials to the event site and set up tent and other event materials. Booth materials include easy up tent, zero gravity chairs, table, tablecloth, brochures, and Marc Pro products.

- Product demos: Encourage and set athletes up with free product demos.

- Customer engagement: Answer questions and share product benefits with athletes and their parents who stop by the booth. Engage with attendees outside the booth when necessary.

- Sales: Encourage purchases of Marc Pro devices and accessories. Job evaluation is based on sales per event.

- Post event evaluation: Debrief events with Event Manager

The Requirements

· Must live in Houston, TX area

· Awareness of fitness, training, and the principles of muscle recovery

· Capacity to lift 60 lbs

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time

· Comfortable with high levels of customer interaction

· Appropriate vehicle required to move booth materials, including 6ft tent.

The Compensation

Each event has a minimum guaranteed compensation of $200 per day. Additional commission once quota is met.

Priority Waste, headquartered in Clinton Township, Michigan, provides waste hauling services. The company has experienced rapid growth since its founding in 2018. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Performs pre and post trip inspections of truck
• Operates truck in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws
• Mounts and dismounts a heavy-duty truck many times each day
• Completes assigned residential route daily, leaving the customers location free of debris
• Professionally communicates with customers as needed
• Notifies Route Manager/Dispatch of any accidents, injuries, property damage, or any other incidents
• Notifies Route Manager/Dispatch of any service interruptions such as closed lots, blocked containers, safety hazards etc
• Identifies and reports all containers in need of repair/replacement

The successful candidate profile includes:

• Must possess a valid Class A or Class B CDL
• 1-year experience operating a front end load truck preferred

• Must be able to pass criminal background check, physical and DOT drug screen
• Must have safe driving record, including no avoidable accidents in the past five years
• Must have ability to communicate professionally with customers, dispatch and internal customer service

Operations Supervisor II is responsible for supervising the collections activities in one or more lines of business (commercial, residential, roll-off and container delivery pick up). The Operations Supervisor II manages drivers and helpers and works with the Operations Hauling Manager to implement tactical initiatives to drive functional excellence and budget achievement. The Supervisor ensures adherence to all accident prevention programs and leads operations to ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, operating, regulatory, accounting, ethics and other standards. Route Planning and Safety Awareness

• Manage a team of Drivers and Helpers
• Check in Drivers and helpers ensuring they are fit for duty, in uniform, and have proper PPE.
• Understand and provide leadership to achieve and communicate about safety goals and objectives.
• Analyze drivers routes to assess any unsafe conditions and work with the sales and dispatch team to remove unsafe conditions identified.
• Partner with the maintenance department to ensure all equipment remains in working order and in compliance with safety standards.
• Oversee effective safety and accident prevention programs to ensure all reasonable actions are taken to prevent accidents and injuries; ensure a safe and productive work environment for all employees; implement and maintain an effective safety program.
• Conduct route observations and coach drivers on safe driving and monitor progress.
• Engage assigned employees in active participation to instill a culture of safety by demonstration of a personal commitment to safe operations and active personal outreach to operational employees.

Customer Experience

• Provide service to all customers that meets or exceeds customer expectations with regard to the entire customer experience.
• Understand missed pickup goals and meet or exceed expectations related to those goals.
• Resolve unusual service requests, equipment breakdowns and schedule changes with timely communications to all stakeholders.
• Interact with customers to solve and rectify any issues and improve the overall customer experience.
• Communicate any changes/needs to the appropriate contact for Municipal work.
• Onsite customer visits may be required periodically.

Efficiency

• Identifies, evaluates, and develops route assignments that are cost effective and meet business objectives.
• Provides detailed analysis of route performance to ensure all pickups are made and are done on a timely manner.

• Review weight audit activity following a truck.
• Route audit to ensure we are not picking up cancelled customers.
• Work with Dispatch to manage door traffic.

Employee Engagement

• 3-8 years of experience in waste management operations
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in waste management, transportation, and/or logistics services
• Experience with route optimization and efficiency improvement.
• Associates degree or higher in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred or equivalent in work experience
• Knowledge of DOT requirements for commercial vehicles
• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of PowerBI preferred

Summary: The Residential Driver is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, and providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers. In addition, the Residential Driver is responsible for ensuring his or her vehicle is in compliance with the Company's safety standards prior to operating the vehicle, ensures that all Company, state and federal regulations are adhered to at all times while operating the vehicle, and completes vehicle condition reports on a daily basis to ensure that any vehicle defects are repaired in a timely manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform complete pre-and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports. Safely operate truck along designated route and to the disposal site; read route sheet, follow map and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or as assigned by the dispatcher and/or supervisor. Operate manual and/or automatic controls in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures to lift and load refuse, operate compactor and dispose of collected material at the designated facility. Courteously interact with all customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all customer routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner. Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers in accordance with applicable departmental procedures. Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste. Clean area around an accidental waste spill, ensuring adherence to all applicable safety standards and policies. Continuously monitor the condition of the vehicle to ensure it is operationally ready at all times to minimize down time; clean waste from the packer blade and truck body (where appropriate) on each disposal trip. Complete required route/productivity sheets, Vehicle Condition Reports and other reports, as required. Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner. Good customer services skills to meet and exceed customer expectations; acts in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner toward customers and co-workers; works with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness. Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner. Good follow through ability; adheres to work schedule and follows through on challenges as they arise. Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules set forth; promotes the Company's safety standards; does not take inappropriate risks. Maintains a feeling of pride in work; strives to achieve all goals. Follow and comply with all safety policies. Additional duties as assigned.

Education/ and or Experience:

* Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement.

* Two years of prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks.

* Excellent reading and writing skills

Specialized Knowledge Required - Including any required certificates, licenses, and registrations

* Excellent Customer Service skills.

* Must be able to multi-task and have an attention to detail.

* Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• We Deploy Both Manual & Automatic Trucks
• The Driver Position May Be Required to Repeatedly Lift up to 50 Pounds, & Move & Maneuver up to 100 Pounds, As Well As Mount & Dismount the Truck Multiple Times Every Route

Requirements:

• 21 Years of Age & Legally Eligible to Work in the United States
• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Airbrake Endorsement
• 1-year CDL driving experience in the last 7 years.
• Great Safety Record and Clean MVR
• Experience as a Driver or Helper for a Refuge Company is Highly Preferred
• Working Knowledge of DOT, OSHA & Applicable Traffic Regulations
• Ability to Speak & Read English to Converse with the General Public, understand Highway Traffic & Signals, Respond to Official Questions & Make Legible Entries on Reports & Records
• Read & Understand a Map
• Meet Physical & Safety Requirements of the Position.
• Willing & Able to Work Required Worked Hours as Allowed Under DOT Regulation & May Include Weekend, Night &/Or Holiday Work

Additional Job Requirements:

• Routes may require Drivers to navigate through congested communities and confined or tight areas in city locations.
• Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential to successfully perform this job.
• Our drivers routinely climb in and out of the truck cab to service customer accounts.
• Driver pre and post inspections required. Drivers are responsible for ensuring their truck is in compliance with IWSs safety standards as well as OSHA and DOT regulations, and local traffic laws, prior to and while operating the vehicle.
