Serves as master of ceremonies in various lounges or nightclubs throughout the vessel. Operates music, lighting and video equipment to produce a mixture of dance music and video clips for a variety of categories such as, but not limited to, classic top 40, dance oriented rock, Latin, classic disco, reggae, and classic rock to ensure guest entertainment to encourage revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as master of ceremonies in various lounges or nightclubs throughout the vessel.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 2 years professional Disc Jockey experience with the ability to motivate an audience based on their demographics.
• Master of ceremonies or professional entertainment experience with resorts, cruise lines, entertainment or recreational industries preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of variety of music categories such as, but not limited to, classic top 40, dance oriented rock, Latin, classic disco, reggae, and classic rock.
• Knowledge of current music trends.
• Ability to operate a variety of music audio and lighting equipment.
• Ability to apply customer service skills, according to Royal Caribbean International’s The Royal Way, when interacting with guests and coworkers.
• Working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety software packages such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a similar role within the entertainment industry.
• Familiarity with advanced audio and lighting technology.

This opportunity is for someone who is interested in helping grow our GI service line, provide exceptional care to our patients and contribute to our organization's mission of delivering high-quality services.

• Work alongside our current inpatient Gastroenterology support team
• Help grow our Gastroenterology service line
• ERCP and EUS preferred but not required
• Clinic volumes above 20 patients per day
• 6 days of call coverage a month

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of practice experience required
• Medical degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine
• Fellowship training in Gastroenterology from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Gastroenterology
• Valid medical license and ability to practice Gastroenterology in California

Please prepare 2 contrasting vocal selections showing versatile styles- your best 16-32 bars of each. Aux cord will be provided for In Person Auditions. You MAY NOT sing a cappella. FOR IN PERSON AUDITIONS, please dress appropriately in case you are asked to do a movement combination.

Dancers: Our shows mix traditional musical theatre and jazz with hip hop and even dance team styles of choreography. Are you a tumbler? Are you a classically trained ballerina? Are you an aspiring Rockette? We want to see all of that! Come prepared to learn a high-energy dance combination. Please plan to dress professionally, in a way that allows for movement. Please also bring at least 2 types of shoes.

Improvisational & Character Actors + Show Hosts: Be over the top and confident! You will be provided with audition sides to read from upon check in. We do not expect you to memorize this, but we do want to see you try new things and make BOLD choices when reading for us. You may also be asked to improvise during the audition. Please be sure to include any improvisation experience on your resume.
