Job Description
Essential Job Functions: • Coordinate work rotation and break schedules for department team members • Ensure equipment is in safe and working order at all times including any necessary troubleshooting • Process necessary paperwork • Drive quality, safety, productivity, and continuous improvement within the department • Promote 5S and Lean to the fullest extent • Hold daily team meetings at the start of shift in absence of supervisor • Complete a daily written and verbal handoff with counterpart • Assist in GEMBA walks in Department Manager’s absence • Other management tasks in Department Manager’s absence • Complete charts and MDI boards when needed • Understand and drive flow monitor • Conduct daily Standard Work audits with the supervisor • All other duties as assigned by Department Manager Position Requirements • Complete all LMS training as assigned • All team members are expected to adhere to VT’s Safety Policies and Procedures at all times.
