Berklee College of Music is seeking a strategic and collaborative Senior Director of Advancement Services to lead our advancement data, systems, reporting, and analytics functions. This senior leadership role ensures that Institutional Advancement (IA) operates with accurate, secure, and actionable data to drive philanthropic impact, alumni engagement, and student success. The Senior Director will oversee Raiser's Edge NXT and related systems, guiding the advancement services team in delivering exceptional support for fundraising campaigns and donor engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Data Governance
- Develop and implement a vision for advancement services aligned with IA's mission and campaign priorities.
- Establish data governance frameworks, policies, and documentation consistent with CASE Global Reporting Standards and AASP best practices.
- Lead change management for new systems, business processes, and data standards.
- Maintain a multi-year Advancement Systems & Data Technology Roadmap in collaboration with IA leadership and Technology Resources.
CRM & Systems Management
- Oversee administration and optimization of Raiser's Edge NXT and related databases.
- Manage system upgrades, enhancements, data migrations, and platform implementations.
- Ensure seamless integrations with student, alumni, and financial systems.
- Collaborate with Berklee Online, Berklee Valencia, and Career Services to maintain unified reporting and data flow.
Analytics, Forecasting & Reporting
- Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to inform fundraising performance, campaign progress, and donor engagement.
- Conduct forecasting and predictive analytics to model revenue potential and donor behavior.
- Benchmark IA performance against peer institutions using CASE standards.
- Deliver actionable insights to IA leadership and frontline fundraisers.
Prospect Research & Gift Administration
- Lead research, data enrichment, and prospect management strategies.
- Maintain policies for portfolio size, assignment protocols, and review processes.
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations, FERPA, GDPR, PCI, and CASE Global Reporting Standards.
- Support development officers with donor intelligence and moves-management reporting.
Cross-Institution Collaboration & Team Leadership
- Partner with IA leadership and campus-wide stakeholders to establish KPIs, reporting frameworks, and fundraising strategy.
- Represent IA on governance bodies including the Data Governance Council and CORE Data Committee.
- Manage, mentor, and evaluate a team of six advancement services professionals.
- Oversee departmental budget and multiple cross-departmental projects.
- Foster a culture of empathetic communication, high-quality service, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of advancement services, fundraising operations, or nonprofit data systems experience.
- Deep expertise in CRM management, analytics, reporting, and data governance.
- Strong leadership skills with success managing diverse technical teams and large-scale projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Empathetic communicator able to translate complex data concepts for non-technical audiences.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience
- Blackbaud product certification; experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Informer.
- Coding or data-querying skills (SQL, Python, or comparable).
- Knowledge of fund accounting, financial reconciliation, and gift reporting.
- Experience with AI-enabled advancement tools.
Technology Skills

1. Execute the CRM Roadmap to Enable Engagement & Growth
- Lead the phased evolution of CRM capabilities that support retention, repeat visits, and revenue growth:

- Leveraging both outbound and in-product delivery, launch and optimize automated lifecycle journeys such as treatment reminders, no-show recovery, and referral programs

- Own promotional strategy and execution for EC and NC campaigns

3. Drive Existing Client Engagement & Visit Volume

4. Partner Strategically to Deliver Business Outcomes

- Work closely with Braze and external partners to maximize platform capabilities and speed of execution
- Contribute to developing internal best practices and scalable processes
5. Measure Performance, Reputation, and Optimize
- Link CRM KPIs to business outcomes including show rate, visit volume, plan renewals, revenue per visit, and treatment completion
- Track and report on client reputation and feedback using Birdeye and Qualtrics, identifying trends and opportunities to improve experience and retention
- Provide ongoing analysis, testing, and optimization recommendations
- Develop clear reporting on roadmap progress and campaign performance
6. Collaborate Cross-Functionally
- Integrate CRM initiatives with marketing channels, brand, product, and communications teams
- Manage multiple priorities while balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution
Minimum Education and Experience:

Experience:
- 10+ years of experience planning and executing CRM programs including email, SMS, direct mail, and lifecycle marketing in retail, service, healthcare, or similar categories. Experience with Braze is preferred but not required.

The Role:
The primary responsibility of the Senior Preconstruction Manager is to intake and steer construction opportunities through the RFP stage of estimating and preconstruction, all the way through a successful buyout and purchasing phase, before turning the project over to Operations. The Senior Preconstruction Manager will coordinate heavily with Corporate Operational leadership and resources, as well as the Estimating team for the purpose of submitting comprehensive proposals during the project pursuit and pre-construction phases. - Coordinate all project pursuit and pre-construction deliverables from commencement of project pursuit with Corporate, Operational leadership and Estimating
- Review project documentation for quality, content, and constructability
- Identify all required deliverables for the project pursuit / pre-construction effort, and make assignments to the appropriate internal/external stakeholder
- Manage the project pursuit / pre-construction effort timeline, setting deadlines as required to ensure an on time and quality deliverable to the client
- Coordinate with corporate marketing to develop proposal documents as required
- Actively manage the client during the project pursuit / pre-construction effort and maintain a strong relationship throughout to help ensure success
- Assure potential risk factors have been evaluated and reviewed with management
- Coordinate constructability resolutions and request pricing of alternative design concepts
- Ensure preliminary construction schedules are developed in accordance with estimates
- Review cost models during the pre-construction and bidding period
- Assist with contract documents
- Consult with Operation leadership, scheduling, estimating, legal, cost control, and procurement activities
- Monitor design progress for compliance with defined cost, schedule, and quality criteria for the purpose of revising proposals and coordinating resolution of constructability issues during design
Qualifications:
- Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field desired
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Construction
- Preferred multidisciplinary experience in several (but not all) of the following areas: Preconstruction, Estimating, and Operations

The Role
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex construction projects with significant environmental, remediation, and heavy civil/sitework components. This role requires deep experience managing projects under uncertain site conditions, coordinating environmental requirements alongside cost, schedule, and field operations, and leading teams through regulatory-driven construction constraints.
The Senior Project Manager serves as a key leader in ensuring environmental compliance, safety excellence, and successful project delivery while maintaining strong relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and regulators.
Financial & Cost Management
- Lead comprehensive project financial management, including accurate Cost-to-Complete forecasting, exposure identification, and cash flow optimization.
- Integrate Oracle and Expedition to track costs, changes, field directives, back charges, allowances, and unit price exposures.
- Enforce adherence to forecasting calendars, SOPs, and detailed line-item analysis to prevent budget overruns and financial surprises.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate cash models, percent-complete projections, and Schedule of Values that support strong project liquidity.
- Review subcontractor schedules of values and requisitions to prevent overpayment and unfunded change exposure.
Change Order & Contract Management
- Direct end-to-end Change Order management, ensuring full utilization of Expedition to track PCOs, OCOs, allowances, and CORs.
- Provide timely, transparent change status reporting to Owners and drive monthly OCO execution to prevent aging issues.
- Recover all legitimate GC costs related to Owner changes and ensure timely processing and closure with subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate contract, change, and compliance logs, and lead monthly reviews to identify risks and exposures.
Schedule & Risk Management
- Lead the development, maintenance, and monthly updating of the baseline Contract Schedule in accordance with SOPs.
- Monitor critical path activities, manage schedule impacts, and take decisive action with non-performing subcontractors.
- Oversee buy-out, procurement, and submittal schedules to support uninterrupted workflow and mitigate risk.
- Issue timely notices, secure required authorizations prior to changes, and proactively address risks affecting cost, schedule, or quality.
Procurement & Purchasing
- Lead the Exhibit B purchasing and buy-out process, ensuring clear scopes of work, timely procurement, and alignment with the buy schedule.
- Coordinate with superintendents, estimators, and project teams to prevent โjust-in-timeโ purchasing and material delays.
- Ensure contracts, bonds, insurance, and execution requirements are completed without impacting project delivery.
Owner, Subcontractor & Stakeholder Relations
- Build and maintain trusted, professional relationships with Owners through proactive communication and transparency.
- Establish a โfirm but fairโ subcontractor management approach focused on accountability, professionalism, and performance.
- Address subcontractor performance issues promptly to protect the project from delays, cost impacts, and quality risks.
- Strive to secure strong Owner satisfaction and positive project recommendations.
Quality & Closeout Management
- Provide leadership in executing the Quality Management Program, including benchmarks, mock-ups, inspections, and nonconformance tracking.
- Establish and implement an early, structured project closeout plan, including documentation, work lists, compliance tracking, and CCQ processes.
- Enforce the use of Noncompliance Reporting Systems and Work List tools to drive timely and compliant project completion.
Meeting & Communication Management
- Establish and lead a disciplined meeting structure that promotes efficient communication, accountability, and problem-solving.
- Manage meetings with clear agendas, time discipline, and alignment to SOPs for all project forums (OAC, PM/PE, subcontractors, coordination, etc.).

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
The Sr. Manager of Marketing Science drives and executes strategic initiatives that improve our marketing data and analytics capabilities. This role will leverage advanced analytics techniques and data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies, optimize campaigns, and drive business growth. This role requires a deep understanding of paid, owned, and earned media measurement, strong analytics and insights skills, broad knowledge of marketing technologies, and the ability to communicate complex data insights to senior stakeholders. This role is critically important for the success of the Global Forecasting, Pricing, and Analytics (FPA) team and reports to the Head of Analytics within the team.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Leadership
* Lead marketing science initiatives in the development and execution of advanced analytics to support marketing strategies and goals.
* Provide thought leadership on marketing measurement techniques, including the trade-offs between controlled experiments, natural experiments, and multivariate statistical models for different situations.
Marketing Science
* Partner with our media agency to ensure we are maximizing the output of our media mix model (MMM) partner.
* Deep understanding and experience with creating and managing marketing attribution solutions, i.e., multi-touch attribution (MTA). Ability to build/maintain in-house solutions and/or work with outside partners as necessary.
* Identify and maintain marketing analytics key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure performance.
* Partner with data scientists, IT, and consultants to develop advanced analytical models and dashboards related to marketing.
* Ability to perform statistical analyses and tests to quantify the business value of an opportunity.

Reporting and Data Management

Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer, the SVP Quality and Safety is responsible for the overall management of an experienced broad-based team charged with monitoring, reporting, educating and inspiring devotion to excelling in internal and external quality metrics for the entire enterprise with the goal of attaining and sustaining top decile performance. The SVP serves as the system liaison and senior executive for all Quality and Patient Safety collaborative initiatives with the acute care hospitals, service lines, continuing care division and homecare ministries to promote integration and alignment in an effort to improve the quality and safety outcomes across the continuum, thereby improving the patient's overall experience.

Compensation Range: The base salary range for this position is $275,000 to $300,000 annually.
