Essential Functions
Performs computerized axial tomography procedures and assigned invasive procedures by acquiring and processing patient exams in accordance with accreting bodies and/or manufacturer guidelines and as outlined in department protocols. This includes performing multiplanar reformats and/or 3D rendered images independently. Reviews cases with the radiologist when appropriate. Reviews labs and patient history to perform correct exam. Administers IV contrast, and oral/rectal contrast when appropriate. Recognizes and responds to any adverse reactions or allergic reactions.Sceens the patient for possibility of pregnancy and performs pregnancy testing if applicable.
Ensures patient, visitor and environmental safety. Reports safety events immediately including those that are a near miss.
Assists in instruction of students and new staff as necessary. May perform duties of CT Lead or Imaging Coordinator in his/her absence.
Meets productivity levels as established by department benchmarking. Assists other areas during downtimes so to maintain productivity.
May be required to perform duties of other modalities within the department to which licensers are held by the technologist/sonographer.
Complies with other job descriptions of cross-trained modalities also performed within the department.
Required secondary registries are not required for cross trained modalities at HRHC unless otherwise required by specific compliance, licensure, or accrediting bodies.

Administers IV contrast syringes, and oral/rectal contrasts when appropriate and recognizes and responds to any adverse reactions or allergic reactions. Administers IV contrast material by means of existing IV line or by performing veni-puncture and placing IV line.
Responsible to review radiology orders for completeness and accuracy. Reviews patient history and supporting clinical data for medical necessity. Takes steps to acquire additional information if needed from the patient, ordering provider and/or Radiologist.
Demonstrates acceptable imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors and alignment. Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
Transfers and verifies image data in PACS and provides necessary medical history and information for Radiologist interpretation. Utilizes the web server/EA viewer and email system to send exams for preliminary readings after hours.
Responsible for maintaining imaging equipment and workplace environment including maintaining supply inventories and orderliness of work area. Recognizes malfunctions and service needs and reports service needs in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities: Research & Editorial Support • Research daily true crime stories using court filings, police reports, FOIA requests, and Sinclair news sources • File, track, and manage FOIA requests with law enforcement agencies, courts, and government entities • Pull, and organize production assets including video clips, photos, documents, audio, and legal records • Assist Producer and host with background research, timelines, and case briefs • Monitor breaking news and case developments and flag timely updates Production & Studio Support • Assist host during recordings, including show prep, notes, timing, and on-set support • Support production setup and execution, including webcam configuration, lighting, shot framing, staging, and basic audio setup • Ensure production quality meets standards for daily digital publishing • Assist with editing workflows as needed, including rough cuts, visual asset prep and short-form social cuts Post-Production & Packaging • Create compelling thumbnails aligned with Criminally Obsessed brand standards and optimized for CTR • Assist in identifying standout moments for social clips • Create social cuts optimized for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other vertical platforms • Partner with editor, EP and content manager to ensure clips reinforce brand Workflow & Operations • Maintain organized logs for assets, FOIA requests, research notes, and production materials • Coordinate closely with Producer and editorial team to meet daily deadlines • Adapt quickly to shifting timelines, breaking news, or evolving editorial direction • Apply ethical and legal best practices in true crime reporting, including attribution and sensitivity Standard for all positions • This role requires occasional travel, approximately 10-20%, to attend conferences, training, or on-site content coverage.
• Physical Requirement: Must be able to safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment/gear weighing up to 25 pounds, following proper safety protocols.
