We are seeking a Day Treatment School Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team.
Starting Salary: $60,000 - $67,000 (Salary)
We are seeking a Day Treatment School Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. Your role will promote the physical and emotional well-being of students by addressing health needs that impact learning and behavior. The nurse provides a safe, therapeutic environment through medication management and collaboration with education and clinical team members. As a member of the Education team, you will work with other team members and report to our Director of Student Services.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Respond to an injury or illness of a client as needed.
- Assess and monitor students' physical and behavioral health.
- Administer prescribed medications and necessary medical procedures, including for students with special healthcare needs.
- Promote health education to students, families, and team members, as needed.
- Stock medication carts, first aid kit, manage supplies including maintaining inventory of medical supplies.
- Maintain signed health forms of each youth.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and the following:
- Current and valid professional state licensure as an LPN.
- At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening
- A valid driver's license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
