Key Responsibilities

Operational & Administrative Tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or vocational training in building engineering or a related field preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., HVAC, EPA Universal, Electrical, SMA/SMT) are highly desirable.
• 3-5+ years of experience in building engineering or commercial facility maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety.
• Proficiency with Building Management Systems (BMS) and maintenance management software.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment

This position involves a mix of hands-on technical work and administrative duties. Accelerated Radiology Technologist-to-CT Technologist Training Program

Our Radiology Technologist-to-CT Technologist Training Program is a 10-week training program sponsored entirely by HCA. Through this program, selected candidates with current Radiology Tech credentials will learn all the needed skills to advance to a certified CT Tech role through online didactic instruction as well as clinical experiences at the facility in which they are employed. This HCA-sponsored program includes all testing, fees, course and training materials. Current ARRT credential and licensure as a Radiology Technologist in Florida are required for selection into the training program.

As a Lead Patient Care Tech, you’ll be an integral part of the nursing team, delivering compassionate care that impacts patients’ lives every day. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Surgical Tech contributes to the company’s mission and vision by assisting with the provision of safe and effective nursing care in accordance with a defined scope of practice within the operating room. This may include: direct patient care and observation, scrubbing and assisting the surgeon at the operative field, surgical room turnover between cases, collection and recording of pertinent clinical data in the medical record and consistent collaboration with the Registered Nurse in clinical decision making.

What you will do in this role:

• Demonstrate necessary practical, technical, or specialized skills required for the role of the surgical technician in accordance with Association of Surgical Technologists
• Assist in preparing the operative suite for surgery by checking and gathering supplies, equipment, and instruments
• Ensure that surgical asepsis is maintained in the handling of instruments, sponges, sutures, drains, needles, and dressings
• Assist in the turnover of the O.R. suites between cases, disposing of trash and linens, and cleaning of equipment and environmental surfaces
• Prepare procedure room for use the following day by bringing in equipment, setting up, "pulling cases" accurately, and reporting to supervisor items that are needed and not available

Qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (preferred)
• One year experience in an operating room setting (preferably in an ambulatory surgery center)
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program as required per facility practice and state regulatory requirement; otherwise preferred
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment ***Online certification not acceptable

Blue River Surgery Center is the newest member of the Surgery Ventures Group powered by HCA Healthcare opening in early 2024. We are seeking a(an) Certified Cardiac Device Tech Level II for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Seeking a Certified Cardiac Device Tech – Level 2 who possess an advanced and comprehensive knowledge of cardiac device therapy. 

What you will do in this role: 

• Interrogate, interpret, and re-program cardiac devices with minimal physician supervision. Trouble shoot critical device issues and take immediate steps toward resolution. Collaborate with EP nurses, physicians, vendor representatives and non-physicians with direct patient care, device status and accurately document device analysis in EMR for review. 
• Educate patients on all aspects of their device including remote monitoring and follow-up protocol. 
• Ensure charges are accurately captured for device interrogation. 
• Enrollment, scheduling, education, and maintenance of patients in various remote monitoring platforms (Carelink, Latitude, Merlin, and Biotronik). 
• Monitor patients following established protocols. 
• Schedule patients for device appointment follow up in EMR and remote website. 
• Immediately contact “no show” patients to ensure they are re-scheduled. 
• Consistently travel to regional or satellite offices for assigned device clinics. 
• Participate in positive, proactive inter- and intra-departmental communication. 
• Promote a healthy clinical environment and good working relationships. 
• Serve as resource to physicians and other practice employees regarding device patients and services. 
• Keep equipment in good working condition and notify appropriate personnel of problem areas or safety issues. 

What Qualifications you will need: 

EDUCATION:

•  High School degree or equivalent required. 

EXPERIENCE: 

• Minimum of two years’ experience of Cardiovascular/Cardiology Technician required.
•  May include multiple cardiac settings- EP lab, Cardiac Cath Lab. 
• Minimum of two years’ experience analyzing and reprogramming cardiac pacemakers, ICD’s, ILR’s and CRT devices of all manufacturers (Biotronik, Boston Scientific, Medtronic, and Abbott/St. Jude) required.
• Current experience reviewing and managing remote device transmissions is strongly preferred Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills. 

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: 

• Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) or Certified Device Remote Monitoring Specialist (CDRMS) from International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) required.
• BLS Certification is required.
