Position Overview
ALEXIS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Technical Designer to support the technical design and product development teams. This role is responsible for assisting in the creation and maintenance of technical packages, managing fit samples, and ensuring garment construction and quality align with brand standards. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of garment construction, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across design, production, and merchandising teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical packages (tech packs) including construction details, measurements, grading, and garment specifications.
- Support the fit process by preparing samples, measuring garments, and documenting fit comments and revisions.
- Maintain accurate spec sheets, measurement charts, and fit logs in PLM or internal systems.
- Review and measure development and production samples to ensure they meet brand standards and approved specifications.
- Partner with design and production teams to troubleshoot fit and construction issues.
- Track sample status and ensure timely follow-up with cross-functional teams.
- Assist in updating pattern corrections and grading notes after fittings.
- Ensure consistency in construction, fit, and quality across all styles.

Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, Apparel Development, or related field.

- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for technical sketches.

General Duties:
* Research Design & Methodology: Participate in all stages of the research process, from literature reviews and hypothesis formulation to the design and interpretation of econometric analyses. This includes applying methods of causal inference and structural or reduced-form econometrics.
* Data Lifecycle Management: Manage, manipulate, and clean large-scale datasets. Identify and resolve technical problems or coding errors to ensure data integrity from ingestion to analysis.
* Technical Programming: Write efficient, collaborative, and replicable computer code to implement analyses. Maintain version-controlled codebases that facilitate team collaboration and project transparency.

- Experience must include high-volume authorization processing, insurance follow-up, and coordination with providers and payers.
- Candidates should also have front and back office clinic experience, be comfortable in fast-paced environments, and demonstrate strong communication and organization skills.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:Β
The Junior Estimator is responsible for assisting in the preparation of accurate and detailed cost estimates forΒ projects in construction, manufacturing, or related industries. This role involves gathering and analyzing data,Β preparing bid and budget proposals, and collaborating with other members of the estimating team inΒ achieving project objectives.Β
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Β
The position of Junior Estimator includes but is not limited to the following tasks:Β
1. Estimate Preparation:Β
- Assist in developing cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor tasks.Β
- Conduct quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications.Β
- Prepare preliminary budgets and detailed estimates on specific work scopes assigned from Senior/ChiefΒ Estimator.Β
- Understand assigned tasks and associated timeline for completion.Β
2. Data Analysis:Β
- Utilize historical data, cost database and current market trends to support understanding of labor, material andΒ equipment costs.Β
- Review sketches, drawings, narratives and/or technical specifications for thorough understanding of designΒ intent.Β
3. Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination:Β
- Solicit bids and quotes from vendors and subcontractors.Β
- Evaluate and compare received quotes to ensure accuracy and completeness.Β
- Solicit subcontractors to create or maintain relationships to ensure participation in bids.Β
4. Documentation and Reporting:Β
- Maintain organized records of project estimates, proposals, and revisions as directed.Β
- Assist in Cost Report preparation with Senior/Chief Estimator to present findings to team members or clients.Β
5. Collaboration:Β
- Work closely with Senior/Chief Estimator and Operations to ensure alignment on project goals andΒ
requirements.Β

The Day-to-day
