Purpose: The CRNA provides anesthetic care for all patients in cooperation with the supervising physician, following Department of Anesthesiology standards and hospital policies. They administer anesthesia, monitor patients' reactions to sedatives and anesthetic agents, and inform the anesthesiologist of any adverse conditions that may threaten patient safety.

Responsibilities:

- Administer anesthesia and related care, including pre-anesthetic preparation, induction, maintenance, emergence, post-anesthesia care, and peri-anesthesia support.

- Assumes responsibility and is accountable for controlled substances according to department and hospital policy and State and federal guidelines

- Assists with the teaching and evaluation of newly hired CRNAs, GRNAs, and SRNAs.

- Performs according to established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Review appropriate documentation for informed consent and identify appropriate surgical site with operating room staff and surgeon in accordance with departmental and regulatory compliance standards

- Participate in the Quality Improvement (QI) process through documentation, incident reporting, evaluation, education, and implementation.

Position Summary

The Nursing Home Certified Nurse Assistant position brings quality of care to all residents and families by following guidelines, policy, and procedures set up through our skilled nursing facility. This role helps the residents with their activities of daily living and assists in various ways to keep residents safe, healthy, and comfortable.

Position Responsibilities
  • Answer call lights
  • Assist residents with ADLs including toileting, transferring, bathing, grooming, etc.
  • Report any changes in resident condition to the nurse
  • Obtain vitals, weights and other information as needed

Pennsylvania Family Practice - No Call Required

Secure a predictable, high-quality outpatient assignment in Pennsylvania this summer. This long-term interim role offers a structured schedule without the burden of call, allowing you to focus entirely on preventative patient care.


Highlights

Practice Setting

  • Outpatient preventative care facility

Schedule

  • Daytime hours only from 8a-4p

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years
  • Family Medicine or Internal Medicine background
  • Active BLS and DEA certifications
  • Minimum 12 months of practice experience

Credentialing Requirements

  • Pennsylvania license or active IMLC LOQ accepted
  • Any state license may be considered for this role
  • Estimated 45-day credentialing timeframe
  • Rapid assistance provided for all paperwork
