Job Summary


American National Bank is looking for a new Community Banker to service the needs of existing and prospective clients by performing both teller duties as well as opening a variety of accounts for customers. We are seeking an individual who provides top customer service, communicates well with others, possesses previous cash handling experience, and previous sales experience. Experience in Jack Henry and Fiserv systems is preferred.


Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:45am - 4:45pm; Rotating Saturdays from 8:45am- 12:15pm


Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities



  • Opens a variety of new accounts for clients including checking, savings, IRA, CD, etc.
  • Provides information and answers questions regarding deposit rates, fees, and bank policies.
  • Serves on the Teller line as needed.
  • Generates growth in deposit balances through sales, marketing, promotion and referral of products.
  • Provides outstanding client service to all existing and prospective clients.
  • Acquires, retains, deepens and manages the relationship of clients.
  • Handles customer requests through email and phone including password resets, ACH and other documentation.

Experience and Education



  • Four to six month's client service experience is required.
  • Four to six month's cash handling and/or banking experience is required.
  • Proven history of attainment of sales goals including referrals.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent is required.

  • Actively participates in meetings, leads huddles, ensuring adherence to safety, infection control, and departmental policies.  
  • Maintains supply inventory and order supplies as assigned.

  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.  

Education:

  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. 
  • A minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a clinic setting is required. 
  • Supervisory or lead-level experience in a clinical setting preferred. 
  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.  
  • Active RN License in the state of Iowa; Licensure from other states may be required based on location.    
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 3 months of hire.  
  • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to the population served within 3 months of hire.  
  • Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows environment, web-based navigation, email, MS Office).  
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of people and in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.  
  • Requires the ability to read, write and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patient, visitors, and colleagues while performing their job duties.  
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.  
  • Is able to perform a variety of duties characterized by frequent change.  
  • Must have good communication and diplomacy skills. 
  • Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.

Per Diem On-Call Registered Nurse (RN ) Hospice in the Columbia-Greene county areas - Evenings/Overnights

The Community Hospice has a wonderful opportunity for a Per diem RN to work as part of our Hospice Care Team caring for patients and families in the homecare and nursing home setting after hours on call.

Workdays and hours are based on need but could include hours during the week Monday to Friday between hours of 4pm-8a and could also include weekend eve/overnight needs.

What you will do:

  • Work with interdisciplinary team.

What you will need: 

  • Valid NYS RN license required.
  • 1-2 years previous RN experience required, homecare and/or Hospice experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn/use an electronic medical record
  • Clean Driver's License and reliable vehicle
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with patients, families, physicians and coworkers
