The Security Officer is responsible for the protection, safeguarding, safety, and security of assets, property, team members, clients, and all visitors at all United Wholesale Mortgage locations.

This Security Officer will use various telecommunications devices to call for assistance from fire fighters, police forces, and emergency medical services. They will provide general emergency care for team members and respond to medical emergencies.

The Security Officer will also interview witnesses or victims to prepare case reports and testify in court if necessary.

Security Guard is able to perform a variety of fixed-post, mobile, or foot patrols while maintaining situational awareness and making decisions and/or taking actions consistent with established post orders, facility rules, guidelines and protocols. Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri05:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat05:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
