About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Revenue Analyst with strong experience in Gross to Net accounting and pharmaceutical sales analytics. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition through analysis of complex commercial deductions including but not limited to chargebacks, rebates, discounts, and returns. In this role you will track, analyze and review revenue performance, manage contract deductions, and deliver insights that drive strategic decisions. You will partner closely with Commercial and Finance. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities and pharmaceutical industry knowledge to support precise financials.



Responsibilities

  • Support month-end and quarter-end financial close related to revenue recognition (in accordance with IFRS) and relevant GL accounts.
  • Analyze gross revenue and compute gross-to-net adjustments including rebates, charge-backs, returns, allowances, discounts, etc.
  • Work with contract terms (commercial, distribution, payer) to assess revenue impact of rebates/discounts/chargebacks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including commercial operations, legal, and supply chain to ensure accurate revenue reporting.
  • Perform gross-to-net sales variance analysis and identify key drivers and trends.
  • Assist internal and external audit processes; maintain controls over revenue recognition, contract terms, deductions and data integrity.
  • Maintain and improve documentation, process flows, and standard operating procedures related to revenue analytics.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate revenue analytics and reporting processes (e.g., via Power BI, Excel macros, ERP system enhancements, etc).


Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting or Finance


Required Skills

  • 2-4 years of revenue analysis and accounting experience ideally in the pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of GTN.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, macros preferred).
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and business intelligence/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with large data sets, identify trends/variances, and translate into business-friendly insights.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal); able to present findings to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Detailโ€oriented, high level of accuracy, ability to meet deadlines and work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.

Job Summary:

The major responsibilities of this position are drug distribution, clinical intervention, education, administration, drug information and research.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Clinical Intervention
* a. Maintains competency in all aspects of drug therapy for patients of all age groups.
* b. Provides pharmaceutical care by assisting other health care providers or providing direct patient care by:
* Assessing patient demographics
* Reviewing patient medication history
* Developing pharmacotherapeutic plans
* Developing drug monitoring plans
* Implementing new drug regimens
* Documenting medication related issues
* Interpreting laboratory data

Drug Distribution
* a. Residents provide the equivalent of approximately 20 hours per month (excluding orientation and transition rotation) of pharmacy practice staffing during the residency program.
* b. Promotes use of WHS formulary by converting non-formulary orders to formulary when possible.
* c. Resident is scheduled to work their required shifts primarily in the Central Pharmacy or Resource Zone to gain a working knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations.
* Checks unit dose medications for accuracy
* Reviews and verifies medication orders for appropriateness and checks first doses of IV admixtures and unit dose medications prepared by technicians
* Ensures proper technique and accurate preparation of all pharmaceutical products, including oral, IV admixtures, chemotherapeutic, and investigational agents
* Ensures the timely and accurate dispensing of drugs and solutions from the pharmacy area
* Responsible for the accurate filling and dispensing of medication orders used by inpatients
* Provides drug information to health care professionals and to patients

Be the Pharmacy Director You've Always Strived to Be

  • Convey the mission of the hospital and organization to pharmacy staff, holding them accountable for performance, while motivating them to enhance and develop their capabilities.
  • Oversee the pharmacy department's operations, including scheduling, continuous assessment, and the implementation of process improvements to optimize department performance.
  • Provide direct patient and pharmaceutical care.
  • Demonstrate and maintain competence in clinical health system pharmacy practices, including antimicrobial stewardship, non-sterile and sterile drug preparation, controlled substances, hospital pharmacy accreditation, anticoagulation drug therapy management, and medication safety.
  • Educate staff on pharmaceutical care and medication management, ensuring the pharmacy consistently complies with local, state, and national regulations.
  • Stay current with new medications, indications, and evidence-based medicine. Collaborate with the Controller to prepare and manage departmental budgets for staffing, drugs, and supplies.
  • Actively serve and lead various hospital committees, including Quality Assurance, Formulary, Pharmacy and Therapeutics, MEC, and Safety, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Licensed in good standing by the State Pharmacy Board for the state where the hospital is located.
  • Successful completion of a degree from an accredited pharmacy program or one recognized as substantially equivalent to a U.S. accredited program by an appropriate certifying agency.
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and or night shifts.
  • May be required to work on religious and/or legal holidays on scheduled days/shifts.
