We are currently looking for a PT to FT _*gradute veterinarian *_that is interested in both general practice and urgent care work. This is a great position for someone who enjoys the long-term relationships, predictability, and stability that day practice offers, yet the challenges and variety of urgent/emergency care and surgery. Our practice is currently open Mon-Fri 8am-9pm, Sat 8am-5p, and Sun 9am-1pm. We keep many of our medical and surgical cases in-house, which allows for better continuity of care. However, we also have ready access to traveling specialists and specialty hospitals for those cases that need to be transferred for more extensive treatment and care.

Our 10,000sq ft building is beautifully functional for our clients and team. We have ultrasound, double dental suites, surgical and therapeutic LASER, rehabilitation, complimentary medicine, exotic pet/avian care, Ligasure, rhinoscopy, video otoscopy, and more!   • Perform inspections and in-process inspections as required, including crimping, splicing, torque, bond, and ground checks.

  • Conduct various tests and measurements, such as resistance tests, to ensure that wires meet specification requirements.

  • Inspect electrical wire bundles and assemblies, ensuring all parts have been assembled according to drawings and specifications.

  • Screen paperwork for options, substitutions, and effectiveness of parts and materials.

  • Identify, investigate, and document discrepancies, reporting them to the shop as necessary.

  • Reject wire bundles, assemblies, or installations as required, documenting discrepancies and processing Quality Assurance records.

  • Indicate Quality Assurance acceptance on appropriate paperwork and online systems, processing documentation as required.

  • Coordinate and complete travelers, investigating and clearing check orders as necessary.

  • Initiate Inspection Record Change Requests (IRCR) and/or Shipside Action Trackers (SAT) as needed.

  • Ensure that certifications for tools, test equipment, and personnel are current and compliant.

  • Assist other employees by providing information and answering questions regarding functions, methods, and procedures.

  • Perform first article inspections and FAA conformities, coordinating results as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Active PA License or IMLC
  • BC in Cardiology
  • DEA
  • ACLS, BLS
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty
  • Proficiency with Epic and Cerner


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide IP & OP cardiology care
  • Cover weekday clinic, weeknight call, and/or 24-hr weekend call
  • Conduct IP rounding, consults, TEEs, cardioversions, and image readings
  • Proctor stress tests occasionally
  • Collaborate with APPs and PA-Cs for patient management
  • Respond to calls, with most handled via phone triage; rare in-person stat TEE for dissection
