Key Responsibilities:

- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and EPA regulations. Follow safe operating practices, including Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) to ensure equipment integrity.
- Equipment Care: Perform comprehensive daily pre- and post-trip inspections. Maintain accurate DOT logbooks and vehicle condition reports (VCRs) to ensure your truck is always road-ready.
- Masterful Maneuvering: Expertly navigate trucks into and out of tight clearance spaces, utilizing mirrors and spatial awareness to back distances of 120+ feet safely.
- Site Stewardship: Act as a professional representative of GFL. Clear any loose debris around containers to maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers and the public.
- Vigilant Monitoring: Use sight and sound to monitor equipment for loose debris or mechanical issues during loading and unloading.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Licensure: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A or B.
- Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of commercial driving experience OR a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
