Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Coordinator verifies and performs system entries for invoices and other payment requests. This role serves as the primary point of contact for vendors, financial and accounting staff, and other Institute personnel on matters related to payment status and other accounts payable issues
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 - Reviews requests for payment (invoices, check requests, employee payment requests, verifies accuracy and validity, and enters payment requests into the financial system.
Job Duty 2 - Collaborate with the AP Accounting team to resolve payment discrepancies and returned payments and/or checks.
Job Duty 3 - Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Duty 4 - Responds to inquiries from vendors, contractors, department managers, and employees regarding payment status and other issues related to accounts payable.
Job Duty 5 - Coordinates, prepares, and analyzes vendor statement reconciliations and resolves any outstanding invoices and discrepancies with efficient delivery of reconciliation.
Job Duty 6 - Evaluate purchase products and services and ensure compliance with the Institute's policies and procedures and all government regulations when applicable.
Job Duty 7 - Participates in internal and external audits of the credit card/expense report functions.
Job Duty 8 - Assists with updating accounts payable policies.
Job Duty 9 - Gather performance metrics to assist with reporting; May utilize a variety of electronic systems to manage requisitions, conduct auctions, and manage vendors and/or inventories.
Job Duty10 - Answer inquiries from vendors on invoice status and other payment-related matters.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High School Diploma, GED, or Vocational School Diploma. Vocational training or a degree may be preferred or required (some profiles may require additional education).
Other Required Qualifications
Overnight travel required for project delivery; flexibility in on-site daily service delivery hours (due to client shift schedules, project requirements).
Required Experience
Three or more years of relevant experience.

Customer service and communications skills are required as is the ability to plan and organize work. Understanding of Institute procurement Policies. Fast and accurate data entry. Understanding of issues that create match exceptions. Ability to resolve complex customer service inquiries related to payment status, process, and procedures. Ability to run queries and format reports. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations. The Georgia Tech Athletic Associate (GTAA) sponsors varsity intercollegiate athletics competition in 17 NCAA Division I sports for the Georgia Institute of Technology. We are a proud member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Job Summary
To provide instructional, recruiting and organizational expertise for the Men's Basketball program at Georgia Tech, supporting the Head Coach in building an environment that inspires and empowers student-athletes to be champions in academics, competition, and life.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head Coach in evaluating individual and team strengths and developing strategies for skill improvement.
- Support the Head Coach with all games, scrimmages, and practices.
- Support the Head Coach in providing appropriate discipline for student-athletes for violations of team rules or Georgia Tech and Association regulations, or conduct impacting upon team matters, team policies or the reputation of Georgia Tech and the Association.
- Assist the Head Coach and support staff in planning and supervising programs for player training, conditioning, and drug education and testing.
- Assist the Head Coach in recommending students for athletic grant-in-aid scholarships from Georgia Tech.
- Assist the Head Coach with the recruitment of student-athletes for the Men's Basketball program.
- Direct Men's Basketball program student-athletes to the appropriate resources for assistance regarding financial aid, academic advisement, and general student needs provided by Georgia Tech or the Association.
- Assist the Head Coach and support staff with providing appropriate program safety requirements.
- Promote an atmosphere of compliance within the Men's Basketball program, Cooperate with the Association compliance office regarding NCAA rules and policies, including reporting requirements. Make a determined effort to utilize available compliance resources.
- Support the Head Coach and Association administration in monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes to facilitate pursuit of a baccalaureate degree.
- Participate in public relations and promotions for the Men's Basketball program as assigned, and support the Communications and Public Relations department in the preparation of Men's Basketball program materials and resources.
- Partner with The Alexander-Tharpe Fund as needed in fundraising efforts to support the Men's Basketball program, Georgia Tech, and the Association, including encouraging contributions.
- Assist the Head Coach in overseeing the preparation and update of the equipment inventory for the Men's Basketball program in partnership with the equipment manager.
- Assist the Head Coach with expending operational resources budgeted to the Men's Basketball program in a manner consistent with Georgia Tech and Association policies.
- Represent Georgia Tech the Association as requested with efforts and initiatives involving Georgia Tech partners, including the Alexander-Tharpe Fund and Alumni Association, and with intercollegiate athletics organizations such as the NCAA and ACC.
- Develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with key internal and external constituents.
- Exhibit Georgia Tech and the Association's core values of character, excellence, teamwork, and innovation. Promote these values throughout the organization with a focus on fulfilling the mission of Georgia Tech and the Association.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

Assist users with lending technology reservations and instruct on the use of various media and audiovisual equipment.

To that end, the school is looking to hire a Professor of the Practice with substantial industry experience. This individual will help foster industry collaborations and build coordinated research and educational activities across the school's key areas of emphasis: Energy, Health, Transportation, Advanced Manufacturing, Intelligent Systems, and National Security.

- Develop industrial connections with ME faculty to boost industry funded research and education
- Help identify connections to industry for icro credentialing

Job Summary
Perform installation and maintenance of components used in campus heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and related equipment including chilled water, refrigeration, air compressor, gas heater, air drier, fume hoods, and pumps. Regularly provide work direction to lower level mechanics and maintenance personnel. This position will interact with on a consistent basis with: maintenance supervision and staff, building managers and vendors. Responsibilities

Install, repair, replace, operate, maintain, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing component used in HVAC.

Position requires the ability to read prints, drawings, and schematics via paper copies and computerized software systems. In addition, the job requires ability to operate machine tools, motor vehicles (may include forklift), hand/power tools, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment. The position requires the ability to troubleshoot and to sequence tasks for specific assignments.

Housing and Residence Life is passionate about the Georgia Tech residential student experience. With 97% of all first-year students choosing to live on campus, we create spaces and opportunities for Yellow Jackets to grow and connect from their first day of college through their graduate studies. Our department is a large and complex organization supporting over 8,700 on-campus residents among 49 traditional halls, suites, and apartments, some of which were constructed for the 1996 Summer Olympics. Our team of 200+ professional staff and 300+ student staff from six departments supports residents directly and indirectly with their unique talents. Job Summary
Inspect, repair, install, modify and maintain plumbing and piping systems and support equipment. Systems include sewer and domestic water, natural gas and hot water reheat or chilled water. Determine work required, sequence of tasks based on type assignment and perform and/or direct others in performing operations and maintenance functions. Follow-up as required. May be required to coordinate contractor personnel's services and provide work direction regarding plumbing systems to maintenance personnel and others. When working in a multi-craft environment, may be directed to assist others in non-plumbing-related duties.

Serving within the Research Faculty of the Institute, this position directly supports the extension, service, and economic development missions of Georgia Tech to the State of Georgia and beyond.
