Regional Finance Controller
Job Description
The Financial Controller will play a critical regional role, supporting schools/entities across the U.S.
and Latin America.
Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, this position is responsible for financial reporting, accounting operations, internal controls, audit management, and oversight of shared services.

and Latin American entities, ensuring timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close Act as primary contact for external auditors and Group Finance teams Oversee accounting operations, shared services, and clustered service models with defined SLA targets Strengthen internal controls, ensure compliance with IFRS/US GAAP, and manage audit readiness Drive continuous improvement of close processes, systems, and reporting efficiency Review and approve journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis Support accounting for new entities, acquisitions, and complex transactions Partner cross-functionally with HR, IT, and regional leadership on finance-related initiatives Lead, develop, and mentor the regional accounting and shared services team Serve as a trusted advisor to the Regional Finance Director and senior stakeholders Profile Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Fully qualified Chartered or Certified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA) Minimum of 5+ years post-qualification experience in industry Strong experience with IFRS and/or US GAAP Proven background in internal controls, risk management, and process improvement Experience with financial systems such as Navision, Hyperion, HFM, and/or OneStream Background in asset-light, service-based, high-growth, or start-up environments preferred Experience working within regional or global organizations across multiple time zones Strong understanding of cross-border transactions and cultural differences Bilingual in Spanish a plus Job Offer Competitive base salary and annual performance bonus Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plan with employer contribution Generous paid time off, holidays, and flexible working arrangements MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
