Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific (NAVFAC Pacific) is looking for journey level Cost Engineers.

A NAVFAC Cost Engineer provides independent, timely, and professional cost engineering products, services, and consultation for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of facilities for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Supported Commands including minor work projects, special projects, Military Construction (MILCON), demolition, maintenance, space utilization, and facilities development. Utilizing knowledge of engineering and architecture as it relates to cost, a NAVFAC Cost Engineer participates in planning, budgeting, designing and construction of substantial new construction, renovation and improvement projects for a variety of complex military construction projects.

As a Cost Engineer you will:

• Conduct analysis of designs, drawings, proposals, scopes of work, and/or specifications to determine cost projections.

• Participate in design charrette workshops as the lead estimator.

• Develop comparative cost/constructability/availability analysis for alternative design scenarios.

• Develops detailed comprehensive cost estimates for complex military facilities to arrive at the project’s selected plan while maintaining cost control.

• Coordinates complex construction cost estimates with estimators from other cost disciplines to create the compelte total cost estimate including all construction trades.

A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary

• Familiar with corrosion control policy guidance and technical support at the Program level for NAVSEA organization, for example, in support of PEO SHIPS PMS 400D with regards to AEGIS Class (DDG-51 and CG-47) Ships.
  
• Five (5) years experience Conducting surveys of underwater hull, topside, interior, and decks to determine the effectiveness of specific corrosion control systems such as attendance at Surface Ship Availabilities.
  
• Experience reviewing and providing technical guidance on specifications being repaired for corrosion control systems to be installed on surface ships, ship construction, maintenance, and repair.
  
• Experience providing technical guidance concerning the techniques involved in the inspection of preparation and application of corrosion protection systems.
  
• Minimum Requirement: Must be certified by National Association of Corrosion Engineers. Must provide documentation at time of award.

We are currently looking for a Quality Inspector to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and growing team. The Inspector is responsible for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure the integrity and quality of materials and components. This role involves utilizing various NDT methods to detect and evaluate defects or irregularities without damaging the test subjects. The Inspector will work closely with engineering, production, and quality control teams to uphold high standards of quality and safety.

We are seeking candidates who are flexible and open to working either 1st or 2nd shift, depending on team and production needs. Shift assignments will be determined in partnership with the selected candidate and business requirements.

What You Will Be Doing

Non-Destructive Testing:

• Primarily perform Visual Testing (VT) to assess materials and components for surface defects, ensuring compliance with established standards.

This pay range is a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the manufacturing or industrial facility, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently, safely, and within quality standards. This role involves managing a team of workers, coordinating activities across departments, and implementing process improvements to optimize productivity and operational effectiveness.
