About Dental Care at Village Walk

Dental Care at Village Walk is a collaborative, goal-oriented, and growing dental practice located in the heart of Holly Springs, NC. Minimum Qualifications

- Current dental hygienist license in North Carolina and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

- 1+ years of clinical experience required.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office

A Brief Overview

What you will do
Contributes to the nursing assessment by collecting, reporting, and recording objective and subjective data.
Provides direct care in a safe manner.
Evaluation of the plan of care on a continuous basis.
Effectively communicates in writing and orally with patients/families and other health team members.
Participates in activities designed to improve health care delivery in assigned area.
Education/Formal Training Requirements
~ Required - Technical Degree or Diploma Nursing

Licenses and Certifications Requirements
Required - BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association
Required - Licensed Practical Nurse - Tennessee - Tennessee Board of Nursing
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Positive working relationship and excellent interpersonal skills in working with physicians.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to plan and schedule tasks and to maintain control of own workflow.
General PC skills.
Effective interpersonal relationship skills.
