Roles & Responsibilities:
The Scientific Computing and Data group at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai partners with scientists to accelerate scientific discovery. To achieve these aims, we support a cutting-edge high-performance computing and data ecosystem along with MD/PhD-level support for researchers. The group is composed of a high-performance computing team, the research clinical data warehouse team and a research data services team.
The Senior HPC Administrator, High Performance Computational and Data Ecosystem, is responsible for a computational and data science ecosystem for researchers at Mount Sinai. This ecosystem includes high-performance computing (HPC) systems, clinical research databases, and a software development infrastructure for local and national projects. To meet Sinai’s scientific and clinical goals, the Senior Administrator has a good technical understanding for computational, data and software development systems along with a strong focus on customer service for researchers. The HPC Senior Administrator is an expert troubleshooter and productive team member and leads projects to effective and efficient completion independently under little to no supervision. This position reports to the Director for Computational & Data Ecosystem in Scientific Computing. Specific responsibilities are listed below.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and maintain Scientific Computing’s computational and data science ecosystem including ~30,000 cores with high bandwidth, low latency interconnects, GPUs, large shared memory nodes, databases, scientific workflows and 30+ petabytes of storage in production, clinical data warehouse and software development environment.
- Lead the troubleshooting, isolation and resolution of all technical issues including application, system, hardware, software, and network). Actively monitors the systems.
- Maintains, tunes and manages computational, data, cloud technologies and workflow systems for ISMMS researchers, scientists and their external collaborators. Defines and deploys a comprehensive computational and data vision. Identifies and communicates system advantages/disadvantages and tradeoffs.
- Designs, develops, implements system administration tasks, including hardware and software configuration, configuration management, system monitoring (including the development and maintenance of regression tests), usage reporting, system performance (file systems, scheduler, interconnect, high availability, etc.), security, networking and metrics, etc.
- Collaborates effectively with research and hospital system IT, compliance, HIPAA, security and other departments to ensure compliance with all regulations and Sinai policies.
- Participates in the integration of HPC resources with laboratory equipment such as sequencers, clinical and research data resources and systems, etc. Incorporate and link data and compute resources.
- Researches, deploys and optimizes resource management and scheduling software and policies and actively monitoring. Designs, tunes, manages and upgrades parallel file systems, storage and data-oriented resources.
- Researches, deploys and manages security infrastructure, including development of policies and procedures.
- Maintain all necessary aspects of HPC in accordance with best practices. Develops and implements backup policies.
- Prepares and manages budgets for hardware, software and maintenance. Participates in chargeback/fee recovery analysis and provides suggestions to make operations sustainable.
- Assists in developing and writing system design for research proposals. Creates and provides clear documentation.
- Works effectively and productively with other team members within the group and across Mount Sinai.
- Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
- Provides after hours support for critical system and production issues.
- Answers and resolves user tickets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or another scientific field. Master's or PhD preferred
- 8+ years (higher preferred) of progressive HPC system administration and operations (preferably in a Redhat/CentOS Linux administration, Batch HPC cluster environment)
- Must be an expert troubleshooter; Must be a team player and customer focused
- Experience with job scheduler such as LSF or Slurm and parallel file systems and storage
- Experience with networking and security
- Experience with configuration management systems such as xCAT, Puppet and/or Ansible

The Southwest National Primate Research Center (SNPRC) and Texas Biomedical Research Institute (Texas Biomed), located in San Antonio, Texas, are seeking a clinical Veterinarian to support the care and management of nonhuman primate (NHP) colonies used for production, research, and retirement, as well as smaller populations of other research species including rodents, rabbits, and ferrets.
The Veterinarian will provide comprehensive clinical care, including diagnosis and treatment of disease, implementation of preventive health programs, disease surveillance and prevention, administration of analgesics and anesthetics, participation in the DEA controlled substances program, and performance of surgical and post-surgical care. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of veterinarians to ensure continuous clinical coverage, including participation in off-hours, weekend, and holiday rotations.
This role is responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance in accordance with institutional Standard Operating Procedures, the Animal Welfare Act, and the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals. In addition, the Veterinarian will perform and oversee research-related procedures, review animal use protocols, advise Principal Investigators on appropriate animal models, develop and refine research techniques, and contribute to continuous improvements in animal care, welfare, and management practices. The position also involves collaboration with internal and external investigators seeking to utilize the unique NHP resources at SNPRC.
Texas Biomed and SNPRC have a strong focus on infectious disease research, and the successful candidate will support studies conducted at ABSL-3 and ABSL-4 containment levels.
This position includes appointment as a Core Scientist at SNPRC, reporting to the Associate Director for Veterinary Resources, and a faculty appointment at Texas Biomed at the appropriate rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, reporting to the Executive Vice President for Research. As a faculty role, independent and collaborative research activities are strongly encouraged.
Our Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate holds a D.V.M. or V.M.D. degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary school, with an active license to practice in the United States. USDA accreditation is required or must be obtainable.
ACLAM board certification or board eligibility is preferred, along with three or more years of experience providing clinical care to nonhuman primates in a laboratory animal setting. Preference will be given to candidates licensed in the state of Texas and those eligible to obtain a DEA license.
The successful candidate will be comfortable using standard computer applications, including Microsoft tools, project management software, and electronic medical records systems. Strong technical writing skills are important, as is experience reviewing and developing study protocols. A solid understanding of applicable regulatory requirements is also expected.

Tweaking Cat Studios is an independent game studio developing our first title. The project is fully funded and currently in the prototype phase, with a planned launch in 2028. We are building a small, highly collaborative team focused on crafting a distinctive and cohesive player experience.
We are looking for an experienced Art Director to define, guide, and protect the artistic vision of the game from early prototype through production and launch.
We work out of an office in Sausalito and the team is almost entirely face-to-face.
Role Overview
The Art Director partners closely with Game Design and Engineering to establish and maintain the visual identity of the game. This role is responsible for defining the artistic direction, guiding production art pipelines, and ensuring visual consistency across all aspects of the game.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone comfortable working in a small studio environment where strategic direction and practical execution often go hand-in-hand.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Game Design to craft the artistic vision of the game
- Define and maintain the visual style, tone, and artistic direction
- Create and maintain art bibles, style guides, and visual reference materials
- Direct internal and external artists to ensure consistency and quality
- Review and provide feedback on all art assets to maintain the artistic vision
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure art integrates effectively into the Unity pipeline
- Help define production pipelines and workflows appropriate for a small team
- Evaluate and onboard external art partners or contractors when needed
- Maintain visual consistency across environments, characters, UI, VFX, and marketing assets
- Support early prototyping with visual exploration and concept direction
- Help plan art production to support milestones through final release
Required Qualifications
- Industry experience shipping multiple commercial games
- Prior experience as Art Director, Lead Artist, or equivalent leadership role
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a cohesive artistic vision across shipped titles
- Experience directing multidisciplinary art teams (environment, character, UI, VFX, etc.)
- Deep understanding of real-time game art pipelines
- Experience working with Unity-based production pipelines (not Unreal)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with design and engineering teams
- Strong visual communication and feedback skills
- Ability to work in a small studio environment where roles can be flexible

- Experience building art pipelines for small or startup game studios
- Experience shipping games on PC or console
- Experience managing external art vendors
- Concept art or visual development background

Qualifications:
- Two-year college drafting degree, or technical school training, or equivalent experience in CADD drafting software, processes, methods, or systems
- 10 years relevant work experience in a Project Engineering environment
- Experience in specifying appropriate equipment for engineering projects
- Must be willing and able to travel by air and/or automobile to facility sites as required
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate project design and drafting management in accordance with industry and company STD’s as necessary to ensure the successful completion of all project related activities
- Assign electrical equipment and instrument tagging numbers. Assign conduit and cable numbers
- Resolve drawing development issues. Draft changes to record drawings
- Prepare of process flow diagrams (PFD), piping & instrument diagrams (P&ID), general equipment layouts, facility plot plans, and equipment and instrument lists for various company plant, pipeline and related facilities construction projects
- Assist in the development of Project Scopes, Engineering / Design Scopes, and Construction Scopes of Work, for use in the establishment of contracts with third parties
- Attend project meetings to obtain full understanding of customer needs and scope definitions, and to provide technical input toward efficient and effective designs
- Assist in the review of man hour estimates and work schedules to assure efficiency in the execution of projects
- Assist in coordinating the distribution of design packages related to projects to ensure that all stakeholders are allowed input, and that all necessary information is exchanged
- Provide design and drafting services for time / budget critical projects
- Provide design and drafting services associated with the preliminary development of potential projects
- Communicate with vendors for materials quotes and availability of materials
- Create parts lists by performing material take-offs to ensure the timely availability of items. Development of material data sheets
- Generate material requisitions for submittal to project manager for approval
- Maintain record of documents and correspondence pertaining to technical design issues throughout the development of projects
- Participate in the development and maintenance of Company standard drawings
- Maintain a high level of expertise in necessary areas of design and drafting and ensure access to specialty resources and technology
- Assist in the development and implementation of specifications and procedures related to the handling of department business to facilitate lower costs in the creation and maintenance of drawings and documentation
- Coordinate with Project Managers, purchasing agents, inspectors, engineering contractors, and construction contractors relating to design drawing content, materials and construction issues
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Engineering on design and project logistical issues to assure effective, linear progress of the project
- Provide the drafting associated with daily operation of the system along with coordinating with CADD Operator
- Provide guidance so to enhance the ability of others to obtain required information through the use of departmentally developed tools and methods

OVERVIEW
The Executive Creative Director defines and executes our client’s creative vision across Brand, CPG, and Restaurant business lines—translating brand strategy into cohesive creative systems, scalable toolkits, and high-impact campaigns that show up consistently across physical and digital environments.
The ECD ensures design excellence across packaging, franchise/restaurant assets, innovation launches, content, and seasonal brand activations. This role bridges creative craft with operational rigor—mentoring designers, elevating visual storytelling, and delivering a unified creative POV across paid, owned, earned, and retail channels.
The ideal candidate brings a foundation in lifestyle/food/restaurant/experiential categories and an agency-level creative bar, with the maturity to operate as a key in-house creative partner to Brand Marketing, Restaurant/Franchise, Innovation/CPG, Digital/Lifecycle, and Web teams.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Creative Vision, Systems & Identity
- Execute the creative expression of the brand across CPG, Restaurant, digital, and experiential touchpoints.
- Translate brand strategy, identity principles, and messaging platforms into scalable visual systems and guidelines.
- Ensure unified creative across seasonal campaigns, packaging, and franchise asset kits.
- Collaborate with VP Brand & Creative on evolution of brand narrative, visual language, and cultural relevance.
- Uphold design excellence and consistency while fostering experimentation and innovation.
Campaigns, Content & Channel Execution
- Lead creative for seasonal campaigns, innovation launches, and priority business initiatives.
- Direct content development across paid/owned/earned channels—including social, paid media, CRM, lifecycle, and influencer content.
- Oversee photo/video production and asset libraries to support omnichannel marketing and store/franchise needs.
- Partner with Content & Digital Marketing to align creative with performance goals, editorial calendar, and media strategy.
Packaging, Innovation & CPG Integration
- Collaborate with VP Brand & Creative and CPG/Innovation teams on packaging systems, formats, and refreshes.
- Ensure packaging reflects category positioning, brand equities, and innovation architecture.
- Maintain a systems-based approach to packaging updates—to avoid isolated redesigns and strengthen portfolio unity.
- Support retailer, merchandising, and shopper needs through differentiated and shelf-impactful design.
Environmental, Restaurant & Franchise Creative
- Own creative for franchise/restaurant brand assets, including menus, signage, merchandising, and in-store storytelling.
- Develop creative toolkits and localization systems for multi-market and franchise scaling.
- Partner with Restaurant teams on experiential elements, LTOs, and guest journey touchpoints.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Translate brand strategy into actionable briefs and design outputs that ladder to business outcomes.
- Interface with Integrated Marketing, Digital/Lifecycle, Web, Retail/Franchise, Product/Innovation, and CPG partners.
- Communicate the “why” behind creative decisions—linking brand expression to commercial value and performance metrics.
- Support agency collaboration, content partners, and production vendors.
Creative Operations, Governance & Standards
- Co-build creative governance systems, toolkits, and guidelines with VP Brand & Creative.
- Establish review workflows, approvals, and creative QA to maintain consistency and reduce rework.
- Manage internal and external creative resources and budgets, ensuring efficient production.
- Support capability-building through processes, templates, and systems that enable scale as the brand expands into new markets.
Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor, elevate, and coach the Creative Studio (Art, Design, Content).
- Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, craft, and collaboration.
- Provide structured, actionable feedback that improves both final output and creative thinking.
- Champion high creative standards that enhance brand equity and business impact.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 12+ years creative leadership experience in agency, in-house, or hybrid creative environments.
- Portfolio demonstrating excellence in food/restaurant, lifestyle, experiential, or CPG strongly preferred.
- Experience directing integrated campaigns across digital, paid, OOH, experiential, retail, and packaging.
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with Marketing, Innovation, Product, Retail/Franchise, and Digital teams.
- Deep craft in both conceptual creative and systems-driven design.
- Strong verbal and visual storytelling ability; comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
- Proven ability to build teams, mentor talent, and manage production partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in design/visual arts (or equivalent experience) preferred.
