Roles & Responsibilities:
The Scientific Computing and Data group at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai partners with scientists to accelerate scientific discovery. To achieve these aims, we support a cutting-edge high-performance computing and data ecosystem along with MD/PhD-level support for researchers. The group is composed of a high-performance computing team, the research clinical data warehouse team and a research data services team.
The Senior HPC Administrator, High Performance Computational and Data Ecosystem, is responsible for a computational and data science ecosystem for researchers at Mount Sinai. This ecosystem includes high-performance computing (HPC) systems, clinical research databases, and a software development infrastructure for local and national projects. To meet Sinai’s scientific and clinical goals, the Senior Administrator has a good technical understanding for computational, data and software development systems along with a strong focus on customer service for researchers. The HPC Senior Administrator is an expert troubleshooter and productive team member and leads projects to effective and efficient completion independently under little to no supervision. This position reports to the Director for Computational & Data Ecosystem in Scientific Computing. Specific responsibilities are listed below.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and maintain Scientific Computing’s computational and data science ecosystem including ~30,000 cores with high bandwidth, low latency interconnects, GPUs, large shared memory nodes, databases, scientific workflows and 30+ petabytes of storage in production, clinical data warehouse and software development environment.
- Lead the troubleshooting, isolation and resolution of all technical issues including application, system, hardware, software, and network). Actively monitors the systems.
- Maintains, tunes and manages computational, data, cloud technologies and workflow systems for ISMMS researchers, scientists and their external collaborators. Defines and deploys a comprehensive computational and data vision. Identifies and communicates system advantages/disadvantages and tradeoffs.
- Designs, develops, implements system administration tasks, including hardware and software configuration, configuration management, system monitoring (including the development and maintenance of regression tests), usage reporting, system performance (file systems, scheduler, interconnect, high availability, etc.), security, networking and metrics, etc.
- Collaborates effectively with research and hospital system IT, compliance, HIPAA, security and other departments to ensure compliance with all regulations and Sinai policies.
- Participates in the integration of HPC resources with laboratory equipment such as sequencers, clinical and research data resources and systems, etc. Incorporate and link data and compute resources.
- Researches, deploys and optimizes resource management and scheduling software and policies and actively monitoring. Designs, tunes, manages and upgrades parallel file systems, storage and data-oriented resources.
- Researches, deploys and manages security infrastructure, including development of policies and procedures.
- Maintain all necessary aspects of HPC in accordance with best practices. Develops and implements backup policies.
- Prepares and manages budgets for hardware, software and maintenance. Participates in chargeback/fee recovery analysis and provides suggestions to make operations sustainable.
- Assists in developing and writing system design for research proposals. Creates and provides clear documentation.
- Works effectively and productively with other team members within the group and across Mount Sinai.
- Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
- Provides after hours support for critical system and production issues.
- Answers and resolves user tickets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or another scientific field. Master's or PhD preferred
- 8+ years (higher preferred) of progressive HPC system administration and operations (preferably in a Redhat/CentOS Linux administration, Batch HPC cluster environment)
- Must be an expert troubleshooter; Must be a team player and customer focused
- Experience with job scheduler such as LSF or Slurm and parallel file systems and storage
- Experience with networking and security
- Experience with configuration management systems such as xCAT, Puppet and/or Ansible
- Experience of databases and web services
- Experience in Infiniband, Gigabit Ethernet

Licensed Clinician- IOP/ Inpatient Behavioral Health
Horizon Health is seeking a Licensed Clinician to join our team at Unity Point Health- Finley Hospital in Dubuque, IA.
Responsibilities:
- Complete psychosocial assessment, Plan of Action, and Plan of Action updates within established timeframe.
- Develops and implements program plans for patient care during treatment and release from the program
- Collaborate with psychiatrist directing the group to ensure quality continuation of care and schedule weekly medication management

Description
The Scientific Computing & Data group at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS) accelerates scientific discovery by supporting a high-performance computing and research data ecosystem. This includes a data commons and two clinical research data warehouses: one for ISMMS and one for the Kidney Precision Medicine Project (KPMP), a multi-institutional research consortium ( ) funded by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). Both warehouses use Microsoft SQL Server and the OMOP Common Data Model.
The Lead Data Warehouse Engineer is a senior technical specialist responsible for leading development, maintenance, and operations of these research data warehouses. The role collaborates with warehouse team members and research stakeholders to expand functionality and integrate new data sources. Data transformations are built in Transact-SQL stored procedures, with SSIS used for orchestration.
Responsibilities
- Design databases and pipelines that balance functionality, performance, cost, and development time; evaluate technical options with the product manager.
- Design, build, test, and maintain ETL/ELT processes using T-SQL stored procedures, SSIS, and SQL Agent; apply metadata-driven design for extensibility.
- Serve as a team leader; contribute to project planning, work breakdown, dependency sequencing, and release management.
- Develop and promote standards, conventions, design patterns, DevOps/SDLC best practices, and operational procedures for pipelines and warehouse maintenance.
- Mentor junior engineers in data warehousing, data engineering skills, and operational support.
- Design, build, and maintain data management processes, including loading flat files (csv, tsv, pipe-delimited, JSON).
- Lead design sessions, code walkthroughs, peer reviews, and produce technical documentation.
- Tune database objects, stored procedures, and pipelines to optimize performance and minimize compute and storage costs.
- Monitor database and pipeline operations; lead troubleshooting and remediation of failures; provide occasional after-hours on-call support.
- Collaborate with DBAs and system administrators on backups, performance tuning, statistics/index maintenance, and patching.
- Provide high-quality customer service to researchers, clinicians, and internal partners; maintain a science‑driven, customer-focused approach.
- Ensure patient privacy and data security in compliance with IRB & cybersecurity policies, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, NYS Article 27-F, and other regulations.
- Stay current with emerging technologies to improve capabilities, efficiency, quality, or cost.
- Identify improvements in procedures, technology, compliance, and data privacy/security.
- Periodically assist DBAs with user provisioning, backups, restorations, capacity planning, and performance monitoring.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Master’s preferred.
- 12–15 years of related experience, including 7+ years designing, developing, and maintaining relational databases, data pipelines, and dimensional/OLAP warehouses.
Preferred
- Expert knowledge of data warehousing: 3NF & dimensional modeling (fact table types, SCDs), change data capture, incremental loads, data lineage, source-to-target mappings, pattern-based & parameter-driven development.
- Expert-level experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies: T-SQL, indexing, stored procedures, UDFs, sequences, dynamic SQL, Linked Servers, SSIS, Visual Studio, SSDT, and SQL Agent.
- Experience with DevOps/SDLC best practices; Agile (Scrum, Kanban) with JIRA and Confluence; version control with git.
- Strong communication and customer service skills for working with researchers, clinicians, administrators, and IT staff.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, multitasking, and collaboration skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experience with healthcare data (EHR, billing/claims, cost accounting), Epic Clarity/Caboodle, data models (OMOP, i2b2, PCORnet).

Compensation
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $145200 - $217875 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

This is a full-time Contract and Grants (C&G)-based faculty position to support ongoing federally sponsored research in a long-standing and agile R&D lab. We are seeking an Assistant In Embedded Training Researcher/Software Engineer with expertise in advanced algorithms and software development, computer visualization, and immersive training technologies to support the design, development, and implementation of next-generation embedded, visual, and intelligent research training systems. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team conducting applied research in simulation-based training, modeling, and opportunity-based training systems.
Key Responsibilities
Research, design, develop, and implement software to enhance training in real-world and 3D environments. Develop high-fidelity visual simulation and application prototypes.
Research and develop frameworks for embedded hardware and software for advanced embedded training systems.
Work with interdisciplinary teams including engineers, cognitive scientists, and domain experts to define research objectives, design experiments, and analyze results.
Create prototypes and capabilities demonstrators to showcase IST's expertise aligned with trends and opportunities.
Design and execute hands-on demonstrations and exhibits at strategic events.
Perform embedded hardware and software research and contribute to peer-reviewed publications.
Minimum Qualifications:
A master's degree from an accredited institution in a field related to computer science or computer engineering and two years of related professional experience, or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field related to computer science or computer engineering and five years of related professional experience.
Strong applicants will have experience in at least three of the following areas:
- Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality concepts and development experience
- Artificial Intelligence use
- Working knowledge of Unity's ML Agents or similar systems
- Computer Vision applications development using AI techniques
- C, Objective C, C++, C#, Java or Python software languages
- Windows, Linux and Mac operating system cross-platform coding techniques
- Mobile platform application development (Android and IOS)

We're seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Sales Program Manager to drive scalable, high-impact initiatives across our global sales organization and channel partner ecosystem. This hybrid role will own the planning, coordination, and execution of sales programs that accelerate readiness, increase partner engagement, and improve revenue performance.
Position Overview and Objective:
The Senior Sales Program Manager is responsible for:
- Designing and executing global go-to-market programs aligned to sales priorities, product launches, and growth initiatives.
- Developing, delivering, and optimizing enablement content and experiences for internal sales teams and external channel partners.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Strategic Execution Realize sales and channel strategy by proactively helping teams pave the way from concept through launch while ensuring the highest quality of outcomes. Make recommendations on how best to achieve strategy by making sure the team and organization understand desired goals, what success looks like and by ensuring there are clearly established priorities.
- Program Orchestration, Alignment and Communication - Simultaneously facilitate 5-7 major programs at any given time while understanding how the program delivery complexities fit into the bigger product & service delivery vision. This position centralizes coordination between the business, sales, channel, customer success, demand and sales development by orchestrating progress from inception to delivery while ensuring alignment. - Content Development Responsible for process mapping and content creation for internal and external channel team members. The content can include job aids, training materials, courses and external assets.
- Organizing for Success For each program, ensure that a charter is established with clear objectives, resources, deliverables, and definitions of success; and that all stakeholders are aware of, and aligned with, scope and target milestones. Ensure that the team understands the plan and target milestones. Ensure program level activities are well understood through a regular cadence of team and executive communications, documentation, metrics and processes.
- Meeting Facilitation Demonstrate excellent facilitation skills in moderating meetings. Examples include engaging all participants to facilitate their best contribution, sending agendas ahead of time, establishing clear objectives, managing the process to realize these objectives, capturing key content, and following up promptly on all action items.
- Analytics and Tools Using an understanding of business outcomes and the principles of effective delivery, leverage analytics to radiate actionable information throughout the organization from the team to executive level. Leverage tool capabilities to automate and simplify program activities. Partners with Sales Analytics team to align on core KPIs and metrics that act as the source of truth for the organization. The core data sets must be validated, accurate, complete, and consistent so that best next actions and decisions can be taken.
- Team Participation & Continuous Improvement - Actively contribute to the cohesion and effectiveness of the program management team by adding new ideas, sharing successes and failures, and showing up with a continuous improvement mindset.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of sales enablement, channel programs, and/or sales planning experience.
- Experience communicating and representing work to senior leadership, framing discussions to gain valuable feedback, and experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.
- Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.
- Proficient in building trust and establishing relationships across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Aptitude towards establishing and leading teams through multi-disciplinary relationships including sales, customer success, deployment, channel, sales development, product marketing, demand and product organizations.
