The Opportunity

The College of Nursing at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applicants for multiple full-time, 9-month, tenured associate professor or professor positions. The positions will either be in the Department of Nursing Systems or the Department of Nursing Practice. The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States. The Opportunity

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-earning assistant professor or tenured associate professor with an expected start date of December 23, 2026.

We seek visionary scholars in the area of RF and Microwave Circuits and Systems. This position presents an exceptional opportunity for the successful candidate to lead innovation in high-frequency electronics-ranging from 5G/6G communications and IoT to specialized RF systems for spaceborne and extreme-environment applications.

The successful candidate will leverage UCF's proximity to the aerospace and defense industries to bridge the gap between academic research and the burgeoning commercial space industry. Given the scale of our programs, this is a unique opportunity to shape the future workforce by training and mentoring the next generation of engineers through our comprehensive undergraduate and graduate programs.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have demonstrated a strong record of scholarly excellence, as evidenced by impactful publications and innovative contributions, and who show clear potential to build and sustain a robust, externally funded research program. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to high-quality teaching at all levels and to collaborate across disciplines to strengthen UCF's global leadership in electromagnetics and circuit design.

Minimum Qualifications:
