Boeing’s Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization has a rare opportunity available for an experienced Facilities Engineering Manager to join the East Region as a key member of this dynamic Leadership team, on-site in North Charleston, SC.

How you’ll make an impact:

You will support a talented team of engineers within the Projects, Assets, Construction, and Engineering (PACE) Center of Expertise (CoE), helping deliver solutions that sustain manufacturing operations and other mission-critical systems. In this role, you will contribute to enabling our business partners’ success by supporting reliable, high-performing infrastructure across our facilities.

The team you will serve operates across the Southeast Region, with sites in North Charleston, SC; Ladson, SC; and Orangeburg, SC. This position includes an expectation of approximately 25% domestic travel. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the engineering team’s goals and priorities, providing direction and oversight

  • Design and implement process plans, policies, and procedures to achieve operational goals

  • Secure and allocate resources for engineering work, oversee supplier technical performance, and drive process improvements

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners, and direct reports

  • Review and approve technical approaches, designs, products, and engineering processes

  • Participate in equipment make/ buy evaluations and source selection, providing technical oversight of suppliers

  • Coach, mentor, and motivate employees to develop skills, advance careers, and sustain high performance

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an ABET accredited engineering field or equivalent

  • 3+ years of experience leading projects and/or teams (i.e. Greenfield, Brownfield Projects)

  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Software Systems (CMMS) (i.e. Maximo or equivalent)

  • Experience with oversight of budgets and financial data

  • Experience in financial acumen

  • Able to travel up to 25% domestically

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in Facilities Engineering

Classroom teaching and preparation, managing and mentoring graders and/or graduate student instructors (teaching assistants), holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and using Cal's electronic resources for course management.

The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering () at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions in all areas of Civil Engineering. Applicants will be considered at all ranks, with a preference for the Assistant Professor rank.



Responsibilities

CEE faculty are expected to lead independent research at the cutting edge of their field and build a strong, extramurally funded research program and national/international recognition. In addition, they are expected to teach both undergraduate and graduate level courses, mentor a diverse student body, and conduct service to the school, institute, and profession.



Required Qualifications

An earned doctorate is required by the start of the appointment.



Preferred Qualifications

Successful candidates will have displayed an exemplary track record of research accomplishments, expertise or demonstrated interest in teaching and mentoring a diverse student body, and a degree of service engagement appropriate to their career stage.

Georgia Tech is organized into six Colleges. The School of Computational Science and Engineering resides in the College of Computing along with the School of Computer Science, the School of Interactive Computing, the School of Cybersecurity and Privacy, and the School of Computing Instruction. Job Summary

The School of Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) () at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA, U.S.A. invites applications for multiple openings for the position of Assistant Professor (tenure-track); openings for Associate Professor and Professor (tenured or tenure-track) are also available. All positions are full-time and are located in Atlanta, GA, U.S.A. The School of CSE focuses on foundational research of an interdisciplinary nature that enables advances in science, engineering, medical, and social domains. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.



Responsibilities

Duties of these positions include developing and sustaining a research program in one or more of our core areas (research) high-performance computing, data science and visual analytics, scientific computing and simulation, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and computational bioscience and biomedicine. Duties also include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses (classroom teaching), as well as providing service to the School, College and the Institute.



Required Qualifications

An earned PhD degree is required by the start date of the job, in a discipline relevant to the field of Computational Science and Engineering, including a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Science.



Preferred Qualifications

Applicants are expected to engage in substantive research with collaborators in other disciplines. For example, current faculty have domain expertise and/or collaborations in computational chemistry; earth sciences; biomedical and health sciences; urban systems and smart cities; social good and sustainable development; materials and manufacturing; and others.
