Production team members are responsible for working in a variety of cheese making production functions to ensure continuous and efficient line operation. The Associate Buyer is a key member of the team tasked with elevating one of our iconic brands at TR Retail LLC, and successfully growing its business in our retail and ecommerce stores. The role works closely with the Brand Director, Product Merchandising, and Marketing to inform how the buy is built and executed at retail. With support from the Director of Merchandising and Inventory Lifecycle Management (the Director), the Associate Buyer will formulate and execute buying and assortment strategies to maximize sales, net profit, and store performance for the assigned categories. The Associate Buyer is responsible for the overall health of inventory, maintaining proper stock levels and assortments through detailed analysis for the retail and online stores. This role will reallocate and replenish merchandise between warehouse and stores based on sales and stock levels, to optimize sales opportunities with the pursuit of getting the right products to the right place at the right time. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 


Buying 

  • Own end to end merchandising and buying strategies, identify and seek opportunities to positively affect company’s overall point of view and financial outcome. 
  • Review seasonal collections, strategize investments based on OTB, sales analysis, trend projection, and historical performance for their assigned brand and/or category. 
  • Build, evaluate and revise sales plans at category and collection level. 
  • Develop monthly allocation and product launch plans in collaboration with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Store Operations, in accordance with marketing and promotion strategies. 
  • Identify new business opportunities through sales analysis, retail feedback and competitive research. 
  • Maintain margin by managing seasonal markdowns and eventual RTV strategy.

  • Review weekly replenishment/ transfer recommendations made by Retail Support Team and make necessary adjustments 
  • Validate all replenishment POs written by Retail Support Team and send to Corporate Customer Service 
  • Analyze stock performance and recommend merchandise for markdown and eventual RTV 
  • Execute markdowns and other price changes in retail system 
  • Manage minimums for auto replenishable stock, review and adjust when necessary

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is excited to offer opportunities for a Composite Fabricator to join our Fabrication team in Everett and Renton, Washington.

As a Composite Fabricator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the production of non-metallic components for our Airplanes. Your expertise will be essential in fabricating and assembling parts with precision, utilizing various methods and equipment while adhering to established safety protocols. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring that all processes meet rigorous quality specifications. Position Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, assemble, rework, repair, and finish a variety of non-metallic parts, tools, and assemblies to specifications using methods such as layup, foaming, bonding, molding, and drap forming.
  • Operate mixers, impregnating equipment, heat treaters, curing equipment, formers, presses, and ovens according to established procedures, as well as various cutting equipment for flat pattern cuts of composite materials.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering to provide input on design optimization for developmental and emergent projects.
  • Utilize prints, charts, change notices, sketches, work orders, and engineering drawings to complete work assignments effectively.
  • Impregnate materials and cut fabrics to size using appropriate tools such as knives and shears.
  • Hand and machine finish parts to required tolerances, ensuring proper fit within completed assemblies.
  • Sand and polish molds to achieve smooth surfaces and wrap mandrels with impregnated materials to meet specifications.
  • Place vacuum bags over wrapped parts, test for leaks, and seal any identified leaks in pressure and vacuum bags.
  • Prepare and apply protective materials, lacquers, and parting agents to molds, forms, and dies.
  • Load, unload, and operate ovens, presses, and pressure bags during the curing process of parts and assemblies.
  • Drill, trim, seal, part-mark, sand, and edge break parts to meet production requirements.
  • Select and secure appropriate tools, fixtures, and equipment to accomplish assigned work.
  • Use shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in work assignments.
  • Perform Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) on equipment, including cleaning, oiling, greasing, and changing filters to maintain optimal operation.

Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:

  • Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.
  • Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.
  • Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.
  • Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards.
  • Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions.
  • Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job duties.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 months or more reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design).
  • 3 months or more with structure materials and processes including metals, composites, bonded and bolted joints.
  • 3 months or more experience accessing a database for details work instructions.
  • 3 months or more experience using precision measuring tools (i.e. micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, etc.).
  • 3 months or more experience in composite fabrication.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift.
  • Must be able to walk constantly throughout the workday; stand 6-8 hours per day; climb or work from stairs/steps up to 8 hours per day; climb ladders; bend and twist frequently up to six hours per day; squat and kneel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working from high/exposed places, tight spaces and working from ladders.
  • Ability to work in noisy environments while completing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relations: Promote a culture of person-centered services that advances the Company's mission to provide quality care and services in a community-based setting to individuals with disabilities. Ensure a high rate of client satisfaction by treating clients with dignity and respect. Ensure the health and safety needs of all clients are met during transportation to/from designated sites.

2. Client Transportation: Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed and secure wheelchair safety fasteners. Conduct vehicle pre?trip and post trip inspections to ensure client and staff safety; document findings and notify supervisor of any maintenance, insurance, or license registration needs.

4. Communication: Notify the proper authority in cases of mechanical failure, safety deficiencies, when off schedule, or other incidents. Coordinate with site managers/staff regarding client behavior or needs requiring additional follow-up, resolving issues as they arise. Attend and participate in department meetings and training as scheduled. Report all accidents immediately, requesting police or ambulance service as needed; assist injured persons until services arrive; and complete required accident reports. Maintain a professional, positive image and attitude.

5. General: Assist with collecting vehicle information for grant tracking if/as needed. Assist Transportation Manager or Transportation Lead with related duties as assigned. Maintain all required licensing and training such as valid driver's license, DOT physical and drug screening as needed, DOT required trainings.
