Job Description

We offer diverse specialized services, including Back Pain, Concussion, Vestibular/Vertigo, Dry Needling, Foot and Ankle, Geriatrics, Head, Neck, and Facial Pain, Health and fitness, Industrial Rehabilitation, Local School Sports, and Manual Therapy. - Assesses patients and develops and initiates treatment plans based on the evaluation results.
- Review the Physician‘s referral (Prescription) and the patient‘s condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required.
- Provides direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines.
- Documents findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
- Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
- Completes a written plan of care, develops goals based on evaluation findings, and develops a comprehensive program to attain goals.

TESTING PROCESS:
Those individuals who have passed both the written and physical agility tests will have their information forwarded to the City of Renton by Public Safety Testing. A 70% on the written exam is required to move forward in the process. An oral board interview may be scheduled for the top candidates. Candidates must obtain an 70% passing score in the oral board to be placed on the Eligibility List. (Candidates that do not pass the oral board are eligible to re-test 90 days from the previous oral board date.) A combined (interview weighted at 70% and the written test weighted at 30%) minimum score of 70% is required for placement on the eligibility list. Veterans and Language Preference Points are awarded to eligible candidates who make the request and include the proper qualifying documentation after successfully passing an interview.
