The Trust Advisor's primary responsibilities are to administer Trust wealth accounts, including estates, trusts, and investment agencies, and to perform the daily operational functions of these accounts. - Direct the Trust Operations Department regarding daily account transactions such as wire and cash transfers, ACH disbursements, bill paying, and the opening and closing of accounts.
- Monitor transactions for completion and accuracy.

General Summary
A Trust Administrator has the responsibility for the complete administration of accounts, typically involving the following types: trusts, guardianships, estates, or agencies. The core of this position is relationship management with a focus on prudent financial planning.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains and grows book of business of high net worth families, individuals, and organizations through building relationships, providing excellent and professional client service, and cultivating active relationships with business professionals in the community.
- Develops new business and confers with potential clients within current book of business. Meets and exceeds sales goals established for new business. Also accompanies Business Development Officer on calls to prospective clients.
- Works with attorneys in matters relating to clients which includes reviewing drafts of estate planning documents for clients.
- Coordinates with external CPAs pertaining to tax issues relating to client needs.
- Sets up estates, trusts, guardianships, and agency accounts. Has the responsibility of building relationships with persons, agencies, and organizations that have an interest in any aspect of an account.
- Manages assigned accounts in accordance with terms specified in the trust instrument, agreement, or state statutes in a manner consistent with needs of the principals, and current and remainder beneficiaries. We’re looking for a Trust Officer to join a growing Fiduciary Company in Los Angeles County. You'll play a key role in managing and administering complex trust and investment relationships ranging from $1M to $25M.

What You’ll Do:
- Administer a portfolio of trust accounts while delivering an exceptional client experience
- Collaborate with trust counsel, tax specialists, and other internal partners to ensure proper documentation and administration
- Partner with external professionals — attorneys, accountants, and co-trustees — to ensure compliance with governing trust documents
- Maintain proactive communication with clients through calls, correspondence, and meetings
- Develop deep expertise in personal trust to serve as a resource to clients and internal partners
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and deliver additional value
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- CTFA required
- JD, CPA, CFA preferred but not required
- 5+ years of relevant experience in wealth management or trust administration
- Strong understanding of trust and investment management practices
- Excellent communication and client advisory skills
- A professional network and the ability to build strong relationships with centers of influence
This onsite opportunity offers a base salary of up to $200k and a comprehensive benefits package.

Overview
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced Estate/ Trust Administration Paralegal to join our team. In this vital role, you will work closely with our attorneys to manage all aspects of estate and trust administration, ensuring prompt, exceptional client service. The ideal candidate is a certified estate paralegal or has strong experience in estates and trusts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys and collaborate with estate planning paralegal(s) to promptly complete estate and trust (and some guardianship) administration.
- Draft trust documents to manage trust assets, complete (and file, when applicable) necessary paperwork.
- Draft and file probate filings with applicable Clerk of Court (e.g., inventories, accountings, notices to creditors, etc.).
- Communicate directly with clients, trustees, beneficiaries, financial institutions, creditors and court personnel to gather information and provide updates.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files and client data.
- Manage deadlines with attorneys to ensure efficient, timely administration.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience/ Education: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with a specific focus on estate and trust administration, probate and/ or estate planning.
Experience in estates and trusts is valued over a specific degree; completion of an ABA-approved paralegal program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity e-filing systems preferred, but training available.
- Core Competencies:
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities (including with busy supervising attorneys) and clients.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters/ estates concurrently and work independently.
- Other License/Certification: Must have a Notary Public commission in North Carolina or be willing and eligible to obtain one upon hire.
