Lecturer - Operations and Information Technology Management - Haas School of Business



The Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley is generating an applicant pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach courses in Operations and Information Technology Management as a lecturer should an opening arise. The pool will remain in place for one year.



General Duties:

In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include:

* Holding office hours

* Assigning grades

* Advising students

The Associate for Resource Consulting provides direct services to Indiana congregations as assigned by the Director of the Southwest Office. Maintenance and System Support (60%):

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Integrated Risk Management tooling, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective system configuration, alignment with the Common Risk Framework and business strategy, and data quality. Mayo Clinic's Division of General Internal Medicine in Rochester is one of the largest academic general internal medicine divisions in the world - serving as the gateway in evaluating and caring for adult patients that may have unexplained symptoms and/or complex medical conditions. Consultative Medicine Clinic (a section of GIM) provides consultative medical care to patients that reside outside of Olmsted county in Minnesota. The licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse (RN) or other assigned supervisor and accepts delegation from the RN/assigned supervisor in meeting the needs of the patient/family. The LPN collects data through observation and communicates information to assist the RN and/or provider in patient assessment and care planning. The LPN participates as a member of the health care team and accepts delegation from the RN/assigned supervisor and provider in meeting needs of the patient/family. The LPN delivers care in accordance with the patient care plan, policies and procedures of the organization and principles of relationship-based care. The LPN possesses excellent communication skills; is skillful in mentoring and instructing; and may participate on committees or projects, including quality improvement projects.

Qualifications

Graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program (e.g., some states allow RN students to take the LPN board exam after completing one to two years in the RN program). If graduation did not occur within the last two years, one year of LPN experience working in an applicable setting is required.


One year LPN experience within the last five years preferred. Experience working in a team environment. Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred. Ability to work daytime hours, flexibility may be required to meet staffing needs. Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting. Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing preferred. Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the clinical and/or research settings. Able to work effectively with multiple members of the interdisciplinary care team. Demonstrates strong, effective and open communication skills to achieve mutual understanding and build trust and rapport with team members. Able to work in a rapidly changing environment while participating in developing innovative and creative solutions to patient care. Excels in creative experimentation and is able to explore new paths, procedures, and /or approaches to models of care teams. Displays flexibility in adapting and coping with accelerated changes within the environment.

Current RN license by applicable state requirements.

BLS (Basic Life Support) must be valid for 90 days post start date; acceptable certifications include: American Heart Association (AHA)/ Heartcode BLS, Military Training Network, Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers).

Additional state licensure(s) and/or specialty certification/training as required by the work area.

Summary / Objective

The Head of Information Technology provides executive leadership and strategic oversight for the Company’s entire information technology function. This role operates as a shared services leader supporting both TYR Sport Inc. and Swimwear Anywhere Inc., ensuring technology strategy, systems, and operations are aligned across both organizations. The role is responsible for setting the long-term IT vision, aligning technology initiatives with business strategy, ensuring operational excellence, managing risk and cybersecurity, and building a scalable, secure, and efficient technology environment.


Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Leadership & Strategy

  • Establishes and owns the Company’s overall IT strategy and multi-year technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, growth plans, and operational needs.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on technology investments, risks, opportunities, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Provides governance, prioritization, and executive oversight for major IT initiatives.

  • Partners with executive leadership and functional stakeholders (Finance, Operations, Warehouse Management, Production, Product development, Sales, HR, etc.) to ensure ERP design aligns with business processes and strategic goals.
  • Oversees ERP implementation partners, system integrators, and vendors; ensures accountability for scope, timeline, budget, and deliverables.
  • Guides change management, data governance, and user adoption strategies to drive successful enterprise-wide ERP adoption.
  • Ensures ongoing optimization, scalability, and integration of Dynamics 365 with other enterprise systems.
  • Reviews and approves major ERP-related decisions, customizations, and enhancements to balance business needs with system integrity and sustainability.

Organizational Oversight & Management
