( Provide engineering support for the fabrication and metrology of high-precision optical windows, lenses and prisms.
Develop and document robust manufacturing process plans that meet complex optical and mechanical specifications, while optimizing for cost, throughput, quality, and yield.
Interpret and verify conformance of engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and test procedures to applicable internal and external standards.
Support bid and proposal efforts by estimating time and resources required for manufacturing activities.

Collaborate closely with manufacturing technicians on the factory floor to resolve production issues in real time.

Hands-on expertise in operating and programming 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC equipment using CAM software MasterCAM or comparable platforms.
Setting up machines, executing initial runs, troubleshooting issues, and conducting post-machining inspections.
Creating and evaluating CAD models using Creo, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
Conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions.
Developing clear and detailed technical documentation to support manufacturing operations.

Ride Development Engineering Design Assurance is an all-encompassing role that provides technical oversight and guidance in support of Ride project teams. As Ride engineering experts, they lead the way when it comes to process, standardization, and overall design compliance. Serve as Mechanical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Ride Engineering design review process to ensure that appropriate engineering/design standards, methods, analyses, and judgment are applied so the engineered products meet the design intent and the business imperatives of safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Review designs related to Ride Engineering products and provide feedback to project teams and functional management regarding the acceptability of those designs.
Interpret and develop standards and codes that will be utilized by the Ride Engineering organization.

Contribute to mentoring and talent development

Recommended Minimum Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience
Associates degree or equivalent, plus 5+ years of experience in a municipality or Civil Engineering firm or an
equivalent combination of education, training and experience are required. Computer literacy is required. FE or
PE is preferred. Ability to operate CAD is preferred. Public speaking experience is highly desirable. Bachelor of
Science in Civil Engineering is preferred.
Special Requirements:
Valid Massachusetts Driver's license is required.
Knowledge: Familiarity with Civil Engineering practices. Knowledge and ability to read and generate design

The primary functions of the Project Manager is to plan, manage, and implement engineering improvement projects with the objective of delivering improved engineering quality for the client by ensuring engineering processes, systems, and resources are integrated and optimized to achieve performance goals. The position requires a working knowledge of power industry design and construction practices, standards, and processes as well as the use of independent judgment, enhanced verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision with the support of a team consisting of local and remote resources. Boeing Engineering & Technical Innovation is seeking talented individuals to join our Integrated Vehicle Systems team as a Senior Flight Engineering Manager to lead our Aerosciences team based in Hazelwood, MO and will require periodic travel to engage with cross-site teams, functional and business unit stakeholders, and customers.
This individual will manage and lead a team of talented engineers responsible for ensuring state-of-the-art development, application and transition of tools, methods and technologies across Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), applied aerodynamics, aero-acoustics and flow control addressing strategic capability needs from Boeing Commercial and Defense business units. The successful candidate will develop and maintain an expert, diverse team that supports Boeing’s one-company culture by collaborating with business units and functional partners.
Position Responsibilities:
- Sets strategic direction, growing and managing a portfolio comprised of internal and external research & development and business unit support.
- Provides resources, removes roadblocks and empowers team to ensure technical excellence within budget and schedule constraints
- Provides oversight of technical approaches, products and processes
- Interfaces with other organizations, internal/external customers, and suppliers to ensure alignment and successful execution of portfolio priorities, plans and project completion.

Boeing Engineering & Technical Innovation is seeking talented individuals to join our Integrated Vehicle Systems team as a Senior Flight Engineering Manager to lead our Aerosciences team based in Hazelwood, MO and will require periodic travel to engage with cross-site teams, functional and business unit stakeholders, and customers.
This individual will manage and lead a team of talented engineers responsible for ensuring state-of-the-art development, application and transition of tools, methods and technologies across Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), applied aerodynamics, aero-acoustics and flow control addressing strategic capability needs from Boeing Commercial and Defense business units. The successful candidate will develop and maintain an expert, diverse team that supports Boeing’s one-company culture by collaborating with business units and functional partners.
Position Responsibilities:
- Sets strategic direction, growing and managing a portfolio comprised of internal and external research & development and business unit support.
- Provides resources, removes roadblocks and empowers team to ensure technical excellence within budget and schedule constraints
- Provides oversight of technical approaches, products and processes
- Interfaces with other organizations, internal/external customers, and suppliers to ensure alignment and successful execution of portfolio priorities, plans and project completion.
- Serves as the Lab Manager for a Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD computing lab and an Advanced Aeromechanical Control Effector Systems (AACES) lab.
- Determines staffing resource requirements, acquires talent, manages redeployment as necessary.
- Works with subordinates to establish and evaluate employee development and performance.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors of Science degree from an ABET-accredited university in a relevant engineering discipline
