SENIOR SAFETY SPECIALIST

FIELD SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with project leadership, safety team members, and General Contractor staff to maintain high levels of quality work performed safely
  • Conduct field safety audits of Buesing project sites and provide relevant feedback to appropriate personnel
  • Attend select Toolbox Talks, stand downs, and safety celebrations
  • Provide replacement PPE and necessary safety equipment to field operations
  • Assist with incident investigations and subsequent reports
  • Properly maintain assigned equipment, including company vehicle, electronic media, and PPE
  • Facilitate drug and alcohol testing when deemed appropriate by management
  • Assist with post employee injury related matters, including facilitating clinic visits, employee transportation, and follow up appointments
  • Provide fill-in duties for qualifying Team members when necessary

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage inventory of safety related items, including item procurement and proper invoicing
  • Maintain incident chronology and ensure appropriate corrective/preventative actions are completed
  • Provide applicable safety-related training to employees
  • Work closely with the HR, Recruiting, and Training representatives to ensure Team congruity and proper record keeping

Pay Range

$105,800.00-$145,500.00 Annual

Structure:

The Willows HR Manager is located within the Insulation System Division and reports to the Insulation Systems Human Resources Director and has generally has responsibility for approximately 300 employees.

The Senior HR Manager is a member of the Willows plant management team, providing functional expertise and perspective to the Plant Manager and various department managers. In this capacity the Senior HR Manager is a โ€œdotted lineโ€ report to the Plant Manager.

The nature of this role requires that you adjust work hours when needed, respond to high priority calls or requests after regular hours, and travel up to 10% of the time.

Your Day to Day:

  • Initiates strategies to create a robust workforce plan that addresses current and future organizational needs, including workforce size and structure.
  • Facilitate annual HR processes including compensation planning, open enrollment, succession planning, affirmative action plan development and others as required
  • Coaches managers in understanding employee issues and concerns and underlying causes, promotes direct lines of communications between employees and management
  • Conducts thorough investigations and develops solutions to complex employee issues and concerns
  • Coaches managers in understanding local labor and compliance issues, advises managers of legal issues

Work Environment

Navy Physicians work in a variety of settings, including military medical facilities, ships, and field hospitals, both domestically and internationally. As a Navy Physician, you can work at one of the highly acclaimed National Naval Medical Centers in Bethesda, MD; Portsmouth, VA; and San Diego, CA. You might even provide medical support to deployed troops aboard one of two dedicated hospital ships-the USNS Comfort and USNS Mercy. Still more opportunities are available aboard a surface ship, working closely with a nearby aircraft squadron, or with the Fleet Marine Force. Reserve Physicians primarily drill one weekend a month at a location near their home.

Training & Advancement

Serving part-time as a Reservist, your duties will be conducted during your scheduled drilling and training periods. Job Description

Marine Layer is seeking a Sr. Manager to shape the creative vision and strategic framework for window design across our fleet of 50+ stores. This newly created role will report directly to the Creative Director and serve as a primary thought partner to our Visual Merchandising team. This role will serve as a key bridge between seasonal brand storytelling and the physical expression of that story in our retail windows.

This role is for a creative leader who thinks like a campaign architect: someone who can translate big-picture brand and fashion narratives into a cohesive, repeatable, and elevated window design system that can be deployed across a diverse store fleet. You will define how Marine Layer shows up in the most public-facing canvas of our brandโ€”on the street, in the window, and in the moment.

You will own the end-to-end creative direction of windowsโ€”from outfitting, concept, and design strategy to scalable rollout.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve a multi-season window design strategy for all Marine Layer retail locations that reflects our brand point of view while allowing for flexibility by market, format, and store size.
  • Translate seasonal fashion campaigns into window design narratives, ensuring alignment with brand storytelling, product priorities, and key retail moments.
  • Develop and present a clear, creative vision for windows to senior leadership, articulating how each seasonโ€™s concept ladders up to broader brand strategy.
  • Lead the creative and strategic arc of window programs, from ideation and design direction through production approach, rollout framework, and post-install evaluation.
  • Establish success criteria for window programs, blending qualitative brand impact with measurable signals such as engagement and store performance.
  • Act as the steward of window design quality and consistency across the fleet, ensuring the creative intent is maintained in execution.
  • Partner closely with Store Operations and Visual teams to ensure concepts are scalable, feasible, and operationally efficient across different store formats.
  • Create design toolkits, playbooks, and guidelines that enable strong, consistent execution while still allowing for local nuance.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, fabricators, and installers, owning creative briefings, timelines, and budgets.


Qualifications

  • 4 - 6+ years of experience in brand experience, environmental design, creative production, or related fields within a premium or specialty apparel retail context.
  • Aesthetic POV and understanding of fundamental design principles.
  • A strong creative POV with a passion for Marine Layer and an appreciation for thoughtful, understated brand expression.
  • Proven experience translating seasonal campaigns or brand narratives into physical retail environments. Experience in an apparel retail environment is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated success developing scalable creative systems that can be implemented across a multi-store fleet.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator), SketchUp, or other 3D rendering software for creating visual mockups.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and complex production timelines.
