Non-CBA Position:




  • Competitive compensation package of minimum $22.50– Maximum $24.50

Key Responsibilities:




  • Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route begin on time, performance, incidents, etc.

  • Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips including no shows, cancellations and missed trips.

  • Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators; act as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.

  • Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.

  • Fill in driving when needed.

  • Other duties as required.


Qualifications:




  • High School Diploma or GED; Technical Degree preferred.

  • 3-5 years' experience dispatching.

  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

  • CDL B with passenger.


Physical Requirements:




  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

  • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.

This role combines the core functions of a dispatcher and field supervisorβ€”monitoring real-time service through TransLoc and other CAD/AVL systems, coordinating operators, and ensuring safe, reliable, and customer-focused service. Key Responsibilities



Dispatch Operations (AM/PM Coverage):




  • Monitor real-time vehicle performance using TransLoc and onboard vehicle technology to ensure routes are on schedule and operators are correctly logged in.

  • Assign, adjust, and document vehicle coverage for both fixed-route and on-demand service.

  • Respond to service disruptions, detours, or incidents, coordinating with road supervisors and management.

  • Provide clear, timely radio and phone communication with operators and field staff.

  • Record service data, delays, missed trips, and operator call-ins using TransLoc and related dispatch software.

  • Communicate service updates to management and client contacts.


Road Supervision:




  • Conduct on-scene investigations of accidents, incidents, or breakdowns; assist operators in completing incident and accident reports.

  • Perform road observations and ride-checks to ensure safety, customer service, and compliance with company policy.

  • Coach and retrain operators following incidents, performance issues, or new procedures.

  • Serve as liaison between operators, management, and client representatives for field service issues.

  • Assist in training new operators, including TransLoc usage, customer service expectations, and on-road safety.

  • Support Safety Manager and GM with compliance checks, drug/alcohol testing coordination, and service audits.


General:




  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for service logs, incident reports, and shift summaries.

  • Work cooperatively with other dispatchers, supervisors, and management to ensure continuous coverage and quality service.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications




  • High School Diploma or GED (required)

  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Passenger (P) Endorsement (required)

  • 3–5 years experience in public transit dispatch or road supervision preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and dispatch software such as TransLoc or Passio

  • Excellent verbal communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

  • Must be able to work AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • Subject to DOT drug test and physical (if applicable). DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

  • Assists with operator hiring process; administers discipline to operators including recommendations for suspension or termination; oversees activities and supervises driver’s room; documents attendance and enforces uniform policy; counsels’ employees.

  • Performs any other management requests or directives as they relate to the overall function of Transdev. In addition, shall maintain the appropriate license requirement to drive a route as necessary to complete the day’s activity.


Qualifications:




  • 2-3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements to assure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws.

  • Experience supervising schedulers, dispatchers, and drivers.

  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • The ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time effectively.

  • The ability to appropriately interact with employees of all levels, including drivers, customers, senior management, client representatives, union officials, and the general public.

  • Work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, if needed.

  • Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.


Physical Requirements:




  • Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces

Transdev in Everett, WA is hiring an Operations Supervisor to oversee road service through communication with Operators, the general public and provide customer support for clients. We are seeking friendly, customer service-oriented people who are dedicated to safety.

  • Competitive compensation package of minimum $25 to $27 per hour

Key Responsibilities:




  • Prepares and assists with operation reports, audits, schedules and data analysis. Maintains daily records of operations.

  • Research and respond to customer compliments and complaints.

  • Serve as project manager for selected internal projects and upgrades

  • Counsels, coaches, and trains drivers and dispatchers. Tracks trip performance measures, route begin on time, performance, incidents, etc.

  • Ensure that drivers are performing assigned duties correctly and safely and that they meet all job-related specifications.

  • Other responsibilities may include road checks, routing, training, payroll, and other administrative tasks as required.

  • May assist in driver hiring in accordance with company standards.

  • Reports directly to Operations Manager.

  • Other duties as required


Qualifications:




  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent

  • 1-3 years of transit or related experience. Paratransit experience or knowledge highly beneficial

  • 2-3 years driving experience preferred.

  • Supervisory experience is strongly desired.

  • Problem solving and analytical abilities.

  • Ability to verbally communicate with passengers, Drivers, Dispatchers and Road Supervisors including use of a 2-way radio and PA system effectively.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

  • Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason


Physical Requirements:



The essential functions of this position require the ability to:




  • Majority of the job is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities

  • Sit, type and look at a computer screen for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day)

  • Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level

  • Occasionally work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions

  • Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
