JOB SUMMARY

SALARY The expected pay range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000 annually.

Technologist - Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Job Details:

/n

• Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities
/n• Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment
/n• Submit and transmit X-ray images to a Radiologist for interpretation
/n• Unload portable X-Ray equipment and transport into facilities to perform physician-ordered exams
/n• Must obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent x-ray images
/n• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation
/n• Scan exam related paperwork and billing documents on a daily basis per protocol
/n• Regularly communicate with dispatch and management
/n• Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients
/n• Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment
/n• Physical demands include pushing/pulling 50-100 lbs of equipment 16 to 24 times per day
/n• On-call responsibilities discussed at interview
/n• Weekend work based on case load and may constitute overtime if needed
/n• Assignment duration is 8 weeks as standard with no guaranteed hours
/n• Required certifications: ARRT
/n• California state license required
/n• Must have valid driver's license
/n• Must have no non-compete agreements

• Work 12-hour day shifts: Saturday & Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and Monday 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM with call
/n• Call responsibilities required - approximately 4 calls per month
/n• Call types include EOS 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, overnight 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, or backup call 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM
/n• 2 years of OR experience required
/n• Pediatric experience required
/n• BLS certification required, CNOR preferred
/n• Prior travel experience highly preferred
/n• EMR system: Epic
/n• Work with adult and pediatric patient populations
/n• Surgical services include ENT, General, Vascular, Endo vascular, Robotics, Dental, GYN, Ortho, Spine, and Neurosurgery
/n• Degree accreditation must be on profile or must have 5 years of experience
/n• Floating required - travelers are first to float and may float to other sister campuses
/n• Expected to function as core staff and integrate into unit culture
/n• 50-mile radius rule from permanent address
/n• Hard document deadline is Monday prior to start with no exceptions
