- Provider Type Needed: Cardiovascular & Thoracic Physician Assistant
- Schedule: 4-day, 10-hour workweek; 1 in 4 weeks on call (first call from home); 1 weekend shift per month
Responsibilities and Duties
- Round on cardiac and vascular surgery patients in collaboration with the CV surgical team
- Provide advanced patient care and clinical support to both cardiac and vascular surgeons
- Support patient management throughout the perioperative period
- Communicate and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation
- Adhere to best practices and institutional protocols
Additional Information
- Board certification as an APP required
- Active Michigan medical license or eligibility preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
