As a Warehouse Technician, you would be responsible for all aspects of receiving, shipping and controlling incoming and outgoing new and retreaded commercial tires, casings, wheels and other types of tire related products and materials for a Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers location.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Oversee all inbound and outbound tire shipments of new and retreaded tires to internal and external customers.
• Responsible for securing inventory assets and inventory control
• Perform cycle counts, preparing and fulfilling orders
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position.
• Operate a forklift and related equipment to load and unload trucks and move material within the warehouse.
• Maintain warehouse area in a neat and organized manner.
• Provide SERVICE EXCELLENCE - ALWAYS to meet the service goals of the location.
• Review shipments and advising management of shortages or damaged shipments.
• Work with Service Manager and the Office Manager on proper documentation of merchandise to control.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting

Basic requirements:

Job Overview

The Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Analyst serves as the on-site liaison between the operations management team and the Information Technology team, and plays a role of a super user in the utilization of the system. This position is responsible for assisting in purchasing, maintaining inventory control, shipping, receiving and labeling of materials in accordance with applicable permits, laws, rules and regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Maintain physical and computerized inventory levels and ensure an optimum balance between parts on hand and minimum down time due to parts availability

• Perform random audits on select completed orders and verify that the product selected matches the order.

What you will be doing:

• Interacts with customers by phone, email, or in person and receives orders or changes in service.

You'll implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies while managing daily operations including receiving, warehousing, and production support activities. Work Schedule: Second Shift (Afternoons)

Environmental Conditions: Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Fluctuating Temps hot/cold, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Warehouse, Will work with hazardous/toxic materials, Working at heights

Hours/Shift: Monday - Friday 2pm -11pm

Requirements:

Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain) Valid driver's license Strong proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications Experience with cGMP and pharmaceutical industry regulations Demonstrated leadership ability and team development skills Excellence in inventory control and cycle counting procedures Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Proven communication skills, both written and verbal Physical ability to lift 40-75 lbs, operate material handling equipment, and work in various warehouse environments Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments including freezers and refrigerated areas Experience with DEA regulated materials handling preferred Knowledge of lean manufacturing and practical process improvement (PPI) methodologies Ability to work flexible shifts and extended hours as needed

High School Diploma or GED required.

Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or plus 5 years of experience in inventory/warehouse management with supervisory experience
