Ride Control Hardware Engineers work within Walt Disney Imagineering's Ride Studio in a highly collaborative environment on diverse teams. Engineering activities cover all aspects of control system design and implementation, from concept to commissioning, for a wide variety of innovative ride platforms.
The Ride Control Hardware Engineer will report to the Ride Control Systems Engineering Executive.
This is a full time role.
What You Will Do:
* Support programmable, electrical, and electronic hardware scope to design and deliver control systems for complex, innovative ride systems
* Perform engineering design and analysis for ride systems, focusing on electrical control systems
* Develop control system and network architectures
* Design, model, and analyze electrical supply systems
* Research new products, technologies, and methodologies
* Lead a team of ride control engineers and collaborate with other professionals to develop ride control systems

What You Will Achieve
A Senior Associate Scientist (R2) position is available in the Upstream Process Development group within the Bioprocess R&D organization. The successful applicant will join a team of scientists and engineers focused on developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for recombinant proteins and other modalities for early- and late-phase human clinical trials. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for designing and executing laboratory experiments in bench-top bioreactors and associated scale-down equipment with the goal of developing robust, scalable, and high productivity processes. The work will also involve working with pilot, clinical, and commercial production facilities to ensure accurate technology transfer, successful large-scale production and associated regulatory filing activities. The candidate may also be involved in cutting edge technology development projects that seek to improve production processes and control strategies leveraging various process analytical technologies.
How You Will Achieve It
- Design and execute experiments in appropriate scale-down models such as shake flasks and bioreactors in an effort to develop robust, high yield, and scalable manufacturing processes
- Serve as upstream tech lead; ensure accurate tech transfer to pilot and GMP manufacturing facilities; provide technical support during manufacturing campaign
- Timely and accurately document data in electronic lab notebooks; author technical reports and contribute to relevant sections of regulatory submissions such as IND and BLA

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $68,600.00 to $114,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in client's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary. Job Description
Main Responsibilities: • Develop electrification control solutions at both component and system levels for a broad range of applications using a model‑based design approach. • Evaluate control designs through analysis, simulation, Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) testing, laboratory testing, and field testing. • Interface with stakeholders to develop control system requirements that support vehicle electrification solutions. • Conduct electric drive and vehicle system simulations to support control system development and vehicle performance assessments.

What Skills You Need: • 2 or more years of experience in power electronics or control algorithm development. • Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Simscape. • Experience simulating power electronics, electric machines, and/or control systems. • Effective written and verbal communication skills (English). • Relevant academic research experience will be equally considered. What Makes You Stand Out: • Hands-on laboratory or vehicle testing experience with power electronics or electric motors. • Experience with Hardware-in-Loop testing. • Experience with auto-code generation and embedded software implementation on microcontrollers and FPGAs. • Working knowledge of version control and Agile software development • Experience with advanced research topics. • Experience with power electronics hardware or software design. • Experience with advanced control systems and techniques such as observers, model predictive control, filter design, etc. • Experience with power electronics control and electric motor control. • M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on power electronics and/or control systems. Coordinates infection control matters with other disciplines.
Develops, implements, coordinates and evaluates a comprehensive infection control program for the hospital.
Investigates and monitors known or potential sources of suspected infections in order to determine source and ensure control.
Knows standard methods and criteria for identifying nosocomial infections.
May assist employee health with exposures and illnesses.
Detects, records, analyzes and reports hospital acquired infections.
Investigates infections, especially those occurring above established thresholds, and/or clusters among patients, analyzes and makes recommendations for correction.
Develops and presents Infection Control reports to appropriate personnel, medical staff, and appropriate committees.
Assists in implementing changes in hospital practice as mandated by regulatory/licensing agencies.
Completes the required documents and reports information to Industrial Commission for workman's compensation cases.
Coordinates infection control education for facility including new hires and annual updates.
Serves as a resource to employees, patients, visitors, community members, families and physicians in areas related to infection control.

We’re seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support complex projects through estimating, scheduling (Primavera P6), cost control, and change management.
This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, solve problems, and drive project performance across multiple projects or large-scale programs.
Pay:$70.00- $80.00 per hour DOE
What You’ll Do
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6
• Perform cost control, forecasting, and change management
• Support project estimating and reporting at program/portfolio level
• Analyze data and identify risks, issues, and solutions
• Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and external vendors
• Ensure alignment with project controls standards and procedures
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Project Management, or related field
5+ years of project controls experience (or 9+ years without degree)
Strong experience with scheduling, cost control, and analytics
Proficiency with Primavera P6 and project controls tools
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree (related field)
• PMI or AACE certifications (PMP, CAPM, PMI-SP, CCP, PSP, etc.)
• Experience with MS Project, Primavera, Power BI, PeopleSoft, or similar tools
• Knowledge of risk analysis / Monte Carlo methods
