Essential Functions


  • The individual who fills this position should have solid TMS knowledge. The required skills/experience includes:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Contractor Specialty Representative will work with an existing Gypsum team with a focus on promoting USG Joint Compound products. This position applies extensive product, technical, and installation expertise to promote USG Systems and establish strong relationships with gypsum contractors, installers, and dealers. In addition, providing installer training, project management, jobsite assistance and collaborate effectively with USG gypsum sales team, local market representatives, and key channel customers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Convert non-USG contractors by conducting job site visits and performing job site product demonstrations to communicate the benefits of USG products and services.
  • Ensure successful product installation by providing field support for large, specialized jobs.
  • Assist gypsum sales in conducting effective sales calls by performing hands-on training and demonstrations, soliciting feedback on USG products and services, and making technical or product recommendations that benefit customers and USG.
  • Act as a consultant to the customer base by working with customers to address day-to-day challenges in inventory, distribution, projects specifications and other related areas; and approaches these issues from a consultative selling perspective, looking for ways that USG can develop stronger partnership with each.
  • Provides feedback and follow-up on job site visits, training, and demonstrations by acting on customers requests, communicating pertinent information to other USG departments, and completing the appropriate administrative duties.
  • Influences the quality of USG customer service by identifying gaps in sales representatives technical and product knowledge and recommending training.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

These positions are anticipated to be assigned primarily to commercial and residential plan review.

Essential Duties

Building Inspector/Plans Examiner III
Leads and coordinates members of the development review and inspection teams to ensure a timely, predictable, comprehensive and accurate plan review and inspection process for any development proposal.

Reviews and inspects residential, commercial, industrial, and multi-family development proposals to ensure compliance with State and City codes/ordinances, engineering/architectural, and fire/life safety principles.

Depending on the Division's needs, performs construction plan review and site inspections:

  • Conducts Pre-Development, Plan Intake, and Pre-Construction meetings.
  • Takes the lead in coordinating plan reviews and inspections internally, with customers, and with other departments and agencies.
  • Maintains communication with contractors to anticipate and resolve onsite issues.
  • Performs building safety inspections and plan reviews.
  • Calculates and assesses fees.
  • Monitors permit and project status and follow-up with expired applications and permits.

Job Description:

Client is looking for a part-time Operations Specialist Contractor (10-15 hours per week) to support Auth0's Strategic Programs and Communications portfolio with consistent, high-quality backend execution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, repeatable work and can deliver accurate reporting on a reliable cadence.

You'll focus on data collection, analysis, and reporting across multiple sources, program and data administration, and survey operations. You'll also look for opportunities to streamline recurring work through lightweight automation and thoughtful use of AI.

Success in this role requires a proactive, collaborative problem-solver who exercises sound judgment in ambiguity, adapts quickly to new requests, and delivers consistently high-quality work with minimal oversight.

What you'll be doing:


  • Manage recurring data operations and reporting: pull data from multiple sources, maintain clean datasets, analyze trends, and deliver weekly or monthly dashboards and readouts in Sheets and Slides
  • Administer surveys end-to-end (SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, or similar): build and QA, manage response data, analyze results, and package findings into clear reports and decks
  • Maintain people operations datasets, including hiring-related tracking and weekly roster updates, ensuring strong data integrity and consistent formatting
  • Support onboarding administration, including LMS completion reporting, overdue follow-up tracking, and course assignment administration
  • Build and iterate Tableau dashboards to replace or augment recurring reports, improving self-serve access to metrics and insights
  • Streamline repeatable work using automation and AI (for example: faster data cleanup, report drafting, and workflow simplification)
  • Support ad-hoc operational requests as needed (quick analyses, dashboard iteration, Google Sheets troubleshooting, and documentation updates)

What You’ll Do

  • Process and audit multi-state payroll (weekly/biweekly/semi-monthly) with 100% accuracy and on-time delivery.
  • Administer payroll in ADP platforms (e.g., Workforce Now, Vantage), including employee records, earnings, deductions, and taxes.
  • Review and validate timesheets/timekeeping data; resolve discrepancies.
  • Complete payroll adjustments including retro pay, bonuses, commissions, garnishments, terminations, and LOA/FMLA pay.

Role Description
