Patent Agent or Associate (Computer Science)

Seattle, WA | Hybrid (2 days in-office) | 3–5 Years Experience

The Role

• Draft and prosecute U.S. and foreign patent applications in software and AI/ML-related technologies
• Respond to office actions and manage an active prosecution docket
• Conduct patentability, freedom-to-operate, and landscape analyses
• Collaborate directly with inventors and in-house teams
• Support the strategic growth and protection of client IP portfolios

What You'll Bring

• 3–5 years of patent prosecution experience
• Degree in Computer Science (undergraduate or advanced)
• Experience in software, artificial intelligence, or machine learning
• USPTO registration required
• Strong writing and communication skills

Compensation

$125,000–$240,000 depending on experience and role (agent or associate), plus performance-based bonus and comprehensive benefits. Relocation assistance available.
