Overview
Currently seeking multiple Full Stack Developers in support of the of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Engineering Support for Identity Services (ESIS), this individual will support Agile Application Development technologies and capabilities in the areas of software development, systems engineering, integration, and test of software applications and infrastructure. Will be skilled with front-end, back-end, and database development. Design and implement full stack cloud solutions to include IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Design and deploy computing infrastructure, physical or virtual machines and other resources like virtual-machine disk image library, block and file-based storage, firewalls, load balancers, IP addresses, virtual local area networks. Implement cloud-based platform services for AWS. Implement cloud-based software as service for AWS. Perform DevOps functions.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience with full stack engineering with proficiency in database development/integration as well as server and client application development/integration
- Software developing experience using Python and Java Spring framework
- Experience with other software technologies such as Web Services (SOAP/REST), React/Angular, VS Code, SQL, Gradle, and/or Git

Responsibilities
- Software development with Python, Java, React, and various scripting languages
- Design data models and web APIs and creation of software tasks from system requirements
- Perform requirements analysis, design, development, unit, and integration testing of software, troubleshooting and debugging of the system
- Immediate responsibilities will include enhancing and maintaining the existing system as well as design, development, and documentation of new features
- Create Git Releases, pull request and code reviews
- Query logs utilizing Splunk and will monitor dashboarding utilizing New Relic
- Usage of Atlassian Tools for day to day tasks within the Scrum process
- Implement web services, data persistence access features and external interfaces
- Partner closely with front-end and database engineers to ensure features are developed holistically
- Follow Agile software development methodology and team architecture standards.
- Will need to be able to read Architecture Diagrams
- Perform test service to improve code coverage, mocking services, test driven development and unit testing

Qualifications

Target Pay Range
The below listed pay range for this position is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. General Description
Performs advanced professional, technical and analytical work with administrative responsibility in automation systems implementation and development.
Works independently, under limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.
Provides design, procurement, implementation, and administration of the network infrastructure - routers, switches, and plans; provides procurement, implementation, and administration of firewalls; provides administration of the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone system; and manages network related projects. Analyzes, diagnoses, and rectifies issues related to server and/or desktop/laptop protocol and communication problems as they are reported on an emergency or non-emergency basis; including issues related to missing drives and group policy scripts.
Completes ad-hoc projects based on end user and Information Technology (IT) analyst needs, including troubleshooting and updating and maintaining file systems.
Performs change control tasks, including implementing and updating web applications as needed by application analysts; launches and implements any new technologies approved by management and special task force; studies, investigates, reviews, and recommends implementation of evolving and emerging technologies.
Performs analysis of systems designs related to networking, wifi and security; develops applications, and documents work flow and processes; reviews peer-reviewed and professional material in digital and paper formats to keep up with the latest trends in both the library and technology community. Proactive analysis using SNMP, NetFlow, and Wireshark. Develop analysis via Python and Ansible for configuration.
Provides help desk support; responds to calls, emails, incident tickets, and/or inquiries from computer/network users and customers to resolve/troubleshoot microcomputer and minicomputer hardware or software issues; provides tech support in the field and after hours support. Integrate hybrid networking with AWS VPC and Azure VNet.

Ensures maintenance of NIST/HIPAA standards and network hardening.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Requires a two (2) year degree from an accredited trade, technical or vocational school, college or university with major coursework in computer science or closely related field.

As a Senior Software Engineer - Engineering Productivity at Reliable Robotics, you will design, and implement software to support the development, analysis, and certification of automated aircraft systems. You will work closely with product owners and end users to develop solutions that enable and optimize engineering development workflows. The software you produce will be critical to the development and certification of the first fully autonomous aircraft.
Responsibilities
In your role as an internal tool developer, you will develop applications, infrastructure, and tools used by engineering to capture product requirements and interface definitions, model the product architecture and design, and reduce and analyze flight and lab test data. You will supercharge the engineering organization's efficiency and effectiveness by streamlining tools and processes. You will work with other teams and stakeholders to establish technical and UX design requirements for these projects and own the "plan, code, build, test, release, deploy" lifecycle of these applications and services.

B-Cell Sequencing is the focus of this group - downstream (Extracting antibodies from individual B cells and sequencing them to find new drug candidates)
The successful candidate will support the development of new paired antibody sequencing technologies from single B cells using droplet microfluidics. Responsibilities include experimental planning and execution, comprehensive B cells sequencing analysis and presentation, and detailed documentation to support multiple programs across our in vivo antibody discovery portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Experimental Design & Execution: Independently design, execute and interpret experiments utilizing microfluidics to amplify heavy and light chain genes and generate DNA libraries for deep sequencing of single B cells captured in droplet emulsions.
- Understand the broad objectives of the project as well as their role in achieving those objectives, and modify the experimental plan when required. Set and meet experimental timelines.
- Molecular Techniques: Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in conducting RNA isolation, and DNA purification, and related methods to amplify antibody heavy- and light-chain variable regions from single cells or lysates and submit DNA libraries for next generation sequencing (MiSeq/MiSeq i100).

The Public Services department provides 24/7 support to the Georgia Tech Library community. The team is responsible for staffing the INFO Desk, chat, phone, Gadgets office, and ticket support for anyone needing Library assistance. The Librarian for Access Services and Outreach will provide leadership for the Access Services division. They may also work closely with faculty and academic departments, accessing student needs and developing new classes to enable student success. As a member of the library leadership team, this librarian works collaboratively in assessing, developing, and managing key services of the Claire T. Carney Library. Often the first contact for a user or visitor, this librarian is an important ambassador for the library to the community.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- EDUCATION: Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution or equivalent
- EXPERIENCE: Two years of professional experience (post MLS) in public services in an academic (higher education) or public library setting.
