As one of the founding physicians of this practice, you ll build your vision of exceptional patient care.
The ideal candidate will have three plus years experience and be board-certified in either family medicine or internal medicine.
The schedule includes M-F 8:00 am-5:00 pm Your call schedule allows for work-life balance.
The after-hours call is strictly by phone and shared among a large group.
Desired start date is no later than January 1, 2025.
Reason for opening: Attrition Schedule includes 7 days on, 7 days off.
Possibly flexible according to the arrangement between the Medical Director and Staff Physician.
Shifts consist of 24-hour rounding plus call from home.
Call will be shared with another Intensivist.
7.6 shifts per month is full-time, 5.5 shifts per month minimum for benefit-eligible.
Practice setting includes inpatient care and rounds.
Regional position: physician will start in Grand Rapids and will begin rotation to Muskegon after orientation period.
Must be willing to work out of both locations.
Grand Rapids is a 15-bed NICU Level III & Muskegon is an 8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery.
The current team includes 3 neonatology physicians and 18 APPs between Grand Rapids & Muskegon.
