GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Director, Social Investment is responsible for managing a team of paid social experts that activate and manage social campaigns across all social platforms. You will be trusted to oversee a growing client portfolio and collaborate with other team members to deliver innovative solutions to the book of business. This role will also be focused on helping Rise drive revenue growth through three core areas:
- Partnering with the Account Management team mapped to their respective portfolio of accounts to retain current business through delivering a remarkable experience and superior results.
- Working in full collaboration with the Account Management team to grow pre-existing Rise revenue through uncovering and tactically up-selling strategic client growth opportunities, an emphasis on cross-channel or full-funnel growth initiatives
- Supporting new business revenue growth by partnering with Business Development, Account Management, Media Strategy and other channel leaders on new business initiatives
As part of accomplishing the above objectives, the Director, Social Investment will be expected to successfully and fluidly operate across a wide variety of internal and external situations ranging from coaching internal channel managers on complex strategic initiatives, to pitching C-Level client contacts on new business opportunities, to working with Client Partners to craft compelling narratives in order to sell-through strategic growth initiatives.
In addition, this individual must be well-spoken, have strong presentation skills, understand client relationship/risk management, be comfortable managing a high performance team and overseeing large complex accounts with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced work environment.
The right candidate will be passionate about social media and its importance in the consumer journey and marketing funnel. They must have an astute understanding of the social landscape - including all channels, technologies, platforms, etc. and be a leader promoting collaboration and ideation.
- As a supervisor, the Director will oversee employee development and retention, including training and goal setting, and lead the team in ensuring ensuring that the tactical execution of media planning, placement, and reporting (including post-buy and financial reconciliation) are handled with accuracy and timeliness. - Develop and execute social strategies for both evergreen and event-based campaigns, working closely with internal / external stakeholders

The Opportunity
The School of Social Work in the College of Health Professions and Sciences at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for one 12-month instructor whose primary assignments will be teaching and field placement in the Bachelor or Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) programs (both online and campus based) while participating in meaningful service at the school, college, university, and community levels. The position is assigned to the main Orlando campus with a projected start date of Spring 2026.
The School of Social Work is recognized regionally and nationally for the superior quality of its educational offerings and its contributions to clinical social work, health care, scholarship, and service to our community. The school has 34 full-time faculty, 14 staff, numerous adjunct faculty, and over 900 students. We offer a BSW, and an MSW program. There are various campus based and online tracks in the MSW program.
The College of Health Professions and Sciences is home to three schools, one department, and six centers and institutes and is a leader in creating positive community change by building partnerships that transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries. The college is a core member of the UCF Academic Health Sciences Center along with the existing College of Nursing and College of Medicine. Summary
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker is responsible for autonomously obtaining and synthesizing all bio-psycho-social information to appropriately assess, treat and provide a safe discharge plan for patients. The Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker is competent to provide assessment, counseling, group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, advocacy and family education as well as discharge planning and referral in an autonomous manner. Floats to all mental health units as assigned, including the Mental Health Emergency Department, Tele-health and the Adult Partial Program. Acts as a member of managed care provider panels and assign benefits to the Medical Center as requested or required by services.
PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.
2. Conducts psychosocial interviews of patients, their families, and collateral resources to determine presenting issues, potential causes and how these issues have impacted their functioning and health.
3. Utilizes clinical skills to draw from all available information to form a clinical assessment that is both need and strength based.
4. Synthesizes information to ensure that all risk factors, acuity, and all treatment options have been considered.
5. Effectively utilizes advanced professional skills and insight to work with patients that are in acute psychological crisis and may display one or more of the following: a lack family support, a lack of community provider network, minimal insight into their situation, or significant deficits in coping with their illness leading to poor follow-through.
6. Provides autonomous consultation and makes recommendations to the treatment team regarding the appropriate course of action/treatment.
7. Establishes an interdisciplinary psychosocial treatment plan including both short-term and long-term goals.
8. Promotes and teaches patients ways to cope with stressful situations while striving for practical and manageable solutions.
9. Engages in discharge planning that identifies patients needs; obtains adequate resources for patient discharge; and, provides for a safe post-hospital plan.
10. Facilitates group therapy utilizing various counseling approaches that are appropriate for the situation.
11. Supervises Masters Social Worker (MSW) students; may supervise Licensed Clinical Social Worker colleagues seeking Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) licensure.
12. Utilizes Trauma Informed Care Principles.
13. Maintains patient medical records.
14. Follows all rules, regulations, laws and standards of oversight agencies; follows all policy and procedures as outlined by Bryan Health.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) required. Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) required. Minimum of two (2) years prior acute care psychiatric experience with the client population to be served.
Summary
The role of the social worker would be to work in conjunction with the Care Coordination team and other member of the interdisciplinary team. Social workers help clients by assessing their situation, setting goals, and obtaining required services. Help determine the nature of specific clients situations by assessing medical, psychological, emotional, and social information.
- Helps patients make informed decisions by acting as their advocate regarding patient clinical status and treatment options.
- Ability to perform a psychosocial assessment and reassessment on all patients. Assess and address motivational and psychosocial issues. This includes obstetrics, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric and the general patient population.
- Maintains open communication interdepartmentally and interdisciplinarily.
- Assures that social service/discharge planning activities are integrated and coordinated within the hospital system by effective communication at all levels.
- General knowledge of criteria for Medicare, Medicaid, HMO and private insurance coverage.
- Handle case assignments, review concurrent case progress, and have the ability to adjust plans accordingly.
- Record and document case information, complete accurately all necessary forms and produce statistical reports.
- Interacts professionally with patient/family and involves patient/family in the formation of the plan of care.
- Is knowledgeable of patients financial status, diagnosis and discharge needs.
- Formulates a teaching plan based upon identified learning needs and evaluates effectiveness of learning, family is included in teaching as appropriate.
- Accurately determines type of assistance/setting/resources necessary for the patient/family and provides appropriate resources/assistance list of facilities.
- Is responsible for home care needs being met by the time of discharge, with a goal of arrangements completed 24 hours prior to discharge when date of discharge is known.
- Prepares patients discharge by reviewing and amplifying discharge plans; coordinating discharge and post discharge requirements; orienting and training family members; providing resources.
- Actively participates in Utilization Review Committee, QI, varying team meetings and other meetings as appropriate.
- Consults other departments as appropriate to collaborate on patient care and performance improvement activities.
- Performs and evaluates mental health, drug, and ETOH assessments.
- Ability to submit and interpret PreAdmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR).
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in social work required; Masters degree in social work from an accredited university preferred.
- Current State Social Work Licensure.
- BLS required within 6 months of hire.
- General knowledge of criteria for Medicare, Medicaid, HMO and private insurance coverage preferred.
