The Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School of Public Policy () has 63 faculty members and we instruct students in undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. programs. Job Summary
The Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School of Public Policy at Georgia Tech invites applications for a one-year Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, starting no later than January 1, 2026. This postdoctoral fellowship examines the impact of isolationist strategies on scientific production and impact.
For this position, we are particularly interested in qualified applicants with interdisciplinary research expertise related to science studies and science policy, expertise in quantitative research methods, and knowledge of the global scientific landscape.
In addition to full faculty benefits, including health insurance and retirement, research fellows receive both research support and other services, including job market support for both academic and non-academic positions in conjunction with other research fellows in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, of which the School of Public Policy is a unit.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in a relevant field, with specialization in scientometrics, science policy, or other science studies domains.
PhD must be conferred before the start of the appointment, and not more than five years before the start of the appointment.

Lead Agile Product Development:
· Maximize revenue and gross margin for each subcategory to deliver at least 20% growth YoY.
· Delivers at least one new product in a new category every year that results in at least $50M in revenue in Year 1.
· Ensures the Product Roadmap delivers viral product performance AND viral product aesthetic by driving ID and CMF excitement from mass production through EOL.
· Oversee a global team with a “fail fast” approach, emphasizing rapid testing, and iteration as well as an insatiable impatience for action.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agility to enhance product offerings.
· Ensure the right processes and practices are in place to support the agile approach.
· Inspire and Empower Teams by leading and managing a global team, coaching and developing them to deliver successful client solutions.
· Cultivate an environment of innovation, autonomy, and high performance.
Operational Excellence:
· Lead the optimization of end-to-end product development processes, from concept ideation through commercialization.
· Continuously assess and refine product development workflows, methodologies, and tools to drive efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
· Implement robust project management practices to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
· Oversee the integration of new technologies and best practices in product development to maintain competitive advantage.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
· Provide support to the Engineering teams for the design, development and manufacture for products.
· Foster strong relationships with key departments including R&D, design, marketing, operations, supply chain, and quality control to ensure product development is aligned with customer needs, quality standards, and manufacturing capabilities.
· Act as a bridge between the product development team and other departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals, deliverables, and timelines.
Innovation & Market Insight:
· Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behavior to drive product innovation and maintain the company's competitive edge.
· Identify and analyze consumer needs and market opportunities, ensuring the product portfolio aligns with evolving customer preferences.
· Build strategic partnerships with vendors, technology providers, and innovation hubs to stay ahead in the industry.
Financial & Resource Management:
· Ensure that the most cost-effective way is sought to achieve the relevant primary functions whilst ensuring quality / reliability
· Manage the product development budget, ensuring cost efficiency and high ROI.
· Optimize the product development processes, supply chain, and resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
· Drive P&L ownership of the product portfolio, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
· Manage talent development, and hiring to ensure the team has the required skills and capacity to execute the product strategy.
Risk Management & Compliance:
· Identify and mitigate risks associated with the product development process, including supply chain disruptions, manufacturing delays, and regulatory challenges.
· Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines throughout the product lifecycle.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
· Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product development operations, tracking progress against goals and providing regular updates to executive leadership.
· Leverage data analytics to identify areas for process improvement and decision-making.
Qualifications / Requirements
The successful candidate will have proven manufacturing / quality leadership experience and the ability to deliver results in larger matrix organizations.
· 15+ years of experience in product development within the consumer products industry (e.g., CPG, electronics, home goods, beauty, apparel, etc.).
· Proven track record of leading product innovation and successful launches at a large-scale company or high-growth brand.
· Strong background in R&D, design thinking, and market-driven product strategies.
· Experience managing large teams and complex product portfolios.
· Deep knowledge of consumer insights, supply chain, regulatory standards, and sustainability trends.
· Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).?

The Chief Roadmap and Innovation Officer will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our global product and innovation roadmap — unifying near-term priorities with long-term disruptive thinking. Responsibilities:
- Support the business onsite in our Needham, MA headquarters with the development of successful and profitable programs for key products to ensure continued growth of the product portfolio – you will assist in leading new product development (creation and management) of assigned product(s) from brainstorm phase through mass production, as well as partner with leadership to define the over-arching category direction to a team of product developers. TEKsystems is supporting one of Hawaii's largest and oldest banks in identifying a Business Continuity Management (BCM) Manager that is responsible for leading the enterprise-wide BCM program to ensure organizational resilience and operational readiness during disruptive events. This role oversees the governance and continuous improvement of the client's business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management capabilities. The BCM Manager partners with business leaders, IT, oversight cohorts, and executive stakeholders to safeguard critical operations and minimize business impact.
Essential Position Accountabilities (70%)
1. Lead the development and execution of the enterprise BCM program strategic framework and roadmap.
2. Serve as Disaster Recovery Coordinator in actual emergency or disaster events, providing leadership during and post disruptions, facilitating crisis management activities, and conducting after-action reviews.
3. Chair or support business continuity steering committees and executive-level governance forums.
4. Establish and maintain BCM policies, procedures, and governance oversight practices to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements and internal risk management expectations.

Responsibilities
Portfolio & Growth

Position Summary
The Senior Director of Warehousing & Assembly is a network-wide operations leader responsible for the strategic direction, performance, and continuous improvement of:
- Hardware Resources (warehouse functions/ cabinet assembly)
- Top Knobs warehouse network
- Task Lighting Operations (assembly/warehouse functions)
This role leads a multi-site distribution and assembly network and is accountable for driving operational excellence across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Talent. The Senior Director ensures standardized processes, consistent execution, strong financial performance, and best-in-class customer service across all facilities. The Senior Director will take well-established, well-functioning operations and engage in continuous improvement to strive for excellence in all key areas.
This leader will function as a change agent, building high-performing teams, implementing standardized operating procedures (SOPs), and driving Lean process improvements across the network. This role requires a strong cross-functional partnership with Sales, Customer Service, Product Quality, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership to ensure operational alignment and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Network Operations Leadership
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for all Dimora Brands warehousing/cabinet assembly and Task Lighting assembly operations.
- Lead and develop DC Managers and site leadership teams.
- Ensure all facilities are staffed, trained, equipped, and operating within company guidelines and performance expectations.
- Serve as escalation point for operational performance gaps and customer service issues.
Performance & KPI Accountability
- Drive execution across all key performance metrics:

- Establish and monitor standardized scorecards across all sites.

Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement
- Lead the development, deployment, and compliance of standardized SOPs, playbooks, and best practices across all warehouse and assembly sites.
- Drive Lean leadership principles and structured problem-solving processes to eliminate waste and improve productivity.
- Lead focused improvement events and cross-functional initiatives.
- Ensure strong audit processes are in place to maintain operational discipline and process consistency.
Assembly & Value-Added Operations (Task Lighting and NorthPoint Cabinetry)
- Oversee assembly/manufacturing workflows to ensure quality, throughput, and efficiency targets are met.
- Partner with Product Quality and Engineering to ensure product standards and compliance.
- Optimize labor planning, workflow design, and material flow to support scalable growth.
Talent Development & Organizational Leadership
- Build and sustain a high-performance culture across all distribution and assembly operations.
- Assess training and development needs across the network.
- Coach and mentor warehouse and operations leaders; develop a strong leadership pipeline.
- Identify high-potential talent and create succession planning strategies.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales to ensure customer expectations and service requirements are met.
- Collaborate with Customer Service to quickly resolve order processing errors and service disruptions.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Product Quality to ensure seamless operational flow.
- Communicate disruptions, risks, and opportunities to Executive leadership in a timely and solutions-oriented manner.
Network Optimization & Growth Support
- Support new program launches, warehouse expansions, and facility relocations.
- Evaluate network capacity and scalability to support business growth.
- Lead technology adoption and warehouse systems improvements.
- Provide operational leadership during times of transition or leadership gaps within facilities.

Qualifications
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, and/or light manufacturing/assembly operations.
- Minimum 5+ years leading multiple sites with demonstrated success driving measurable performance improvement.
- Experience implementing Lean methodologies and structured problem-solving processes preferred.
- Proven success managing budgets and driving cost optimization initiatives.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or related field required.
- MBA or advanced degree a plus.

Position Summary
The Commercial HVAC and BAS Specialist is responsible for overseeing the preventive maintenance, performance, and reliability of mechanical and control systems across Tetrad’s managed portfolio. This position ensures the efficient operation of HVAC systems and environmental controls through proactive oversight, quality assurance, and hands-on technical expertise. In addition to system optimization and vendor coordination, the Specialist manages work orders and performs general maintenance tasks to support day-to-day building operations and tenant needs.
This role provides leadership in maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and system improvement while remaining actively engaged in field operations. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, a solid understanding of building automation systems, and a high level of customer service. This position requires initiative, precision, and the ability to balance strategic system oversight with responsive, hands-on facility support.
Primary Responsibilities
System Operations & Preventive Maintenance Oversight
· Oversee all preventive maintenance (PM) activities for HVAC systems, ensuring schedules are met, procedures followed, and work is properly documented.
· Evaluate PM programs for effectiveness and recommend updates to improve reliability and extend equipment life.
· Provide field support and technical guidance to facility staff and vendors performing PM and service work.
· Review maintenance reports, identify recurring issues, and develop corrective action plans.
· Conduct quality inspections to ensure equipment is maintained to Tetrad’s operational standards.
Controls & System Optimization
· Support, adjust, and troubleshoot Building Automation and Control Systems (BAS) to maintain occupant comfort and operational efficiency.
· Review control sequences and recommend adjustments to improve system performance.
· Collaborate with contractors and vendors on programming, tuning, and integration of new equipment into control systems.
· Track energy performance and identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.

Project & Vendor Coordination
· Provide technical oversight during HVAC and controls-related projects, retrofits, and upgrades.

· Perform hands-on general maintenance tasks as needed, including minor mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building repairs within skill set and safety guidelines.
· Prioritize work orders based on urgency, operational impact, and tenant needs.
· Accurately document completed work, materials used, and follow-up requirements in the work order management system.
· Identify recurring maintenance issues and recommend long-term corrective solutions.
· Coordinate with vendors and internal team members when specialized services or additional support are required.
Emergency & On-Call Response
· Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.
· Respond promptly to critical system issues, including HVAC failures, leaks, or alarms.
· Support emergency preparedness, system recovery, and weather-related response efforts.
Required Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED.
· Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC service, controls, and mechanical systems experience.
· Strong understanding of HVAC theory, system operation, and control sequences.
· Experience overseeing or performing preventive maintenance programs in commercial environments.
· Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing air handlers, RTUs, chillers, boilers, and related systems.
· Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces, rooftops, and mechanical areas.
· Candidates must be comfortable working in proximity to animals of varying size and temperament.
Preferred Qualifications
· Journeyman HVAC License is preferred.
· Experience with one or more control systems: Johnson Controls, Siemens, Trane, Delta Controls, or comparable BAS platforms.
· Experience with BACnet and Modbus communication protocols.
· OSHA 10 or 30 Certification.
· OEM technical training (Carrier, Daikin, Lennox, or Trane).
· Trade school diploma, associate degree, or equivalent technical training in HVAC, controls, or mechanical systems.
