What we're looking for:

In this role you will:

- Acute Care 5300 is a 28-bed medical-surgical unit that cares for a wide variety of medical and post-op patients and serves as Magee’s stepdown unit. Many patients receive insulin and/or Cardezim drips, and all the unit’s 28 beds are housed in private rooms, each hardwired for telemetry monitoring. Our post-op patients may be recovering from orthopedic, vascular, urological, gynecological, or bariatric surgeries; we also frequently receive overflow surgical patients who do not have beds available on their specialty unit. - Prepare the café team and operations for the upcoming 2027 expansion
What We’re Looking For
- Experience leading high‑volume café, restaurant, or corporate dining operations
- Comfortable working in fast‑changing environments; able to stay organized and proactive
- Hands‑on leadership style and willingness to support frontline service whenever needed
- Strong communication skills with experience managing client relationships
- Ability to build, mentor, and inspire diverse teams
- Financial acumen, including budgeting, cost management, and P&L accountability
- Experience with food purchasing, inventory systems, and operational planning
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety standards, and compliance processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- ServSafe or similar certification is helpful
