The Cardiovascular Tech RCIS primary responsibility is to assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under the direction of the supervisor and physician.
Your Job Requirements:

Your Job Responsibilities:
• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Assists physician as a monitor tech during any procedure performed in the cath lab by interpreting basic and advanced dysrhythmia and EKG’s and operating physiologic recorder, and interpreting normal and abnormal pressures and wave forms.
• Assists physician with most procedures as a scrub tech and operates imaging equipment under direction of physician.
• Assists physician with some diagnostic procedures as a circulator by monitoring patient status during a procedure, handing supplies to the scrub tech, and operating imaging equipment under the direction of the physician.
• Assists with transport of patient to and from department.
• Cleans and stocks cath lab.
• Demonstrates knowledge of medications and dosages used.
• Demonstrates theoretical knowledge of procedures.
• Orders supplies for cath lab and demonstrates effective inventory control.
• Post procedure safety removes arterial and/or venous sheath, maintains hemostasis, and monitors patient status.
• Prepares lab for procedure by setting up for procedure and maintaining sterile technique.
• Prepares patient for procedure by shaving and prepping patient and marking arterial pulses.
• Troubleshoots equipment problems.

The Role - Product Engineer, Tech Lead

Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain a robust application management and loan repayment platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability across front-end and back-end systems
- Leverage full-stack engineering skills to contribute alongside team and build a polished & accessible end-user experience that tens of thousands of students and program administrators love, and develop best of breed API on reliable infrastructure for our partners to leverage

- Oversee 2-3 engineers' day-to-day operations with the support of the Director of Engineering

Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent bootcamp or upskilling program experience
- Hands-on experience managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar) and ownership of deployment strategies, release management, and production monitoring
- Experience working closely with Product teams to define technical requirements and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence in financial services or similarly regulated environments.
- Ability to clearly articulate technical trade-offs, align stakeholders, and make informed decisions under ambiguity.
- 4+ years working in a SaaS startup regularly building and owning the complete E2E technology stack for Web Application (Frontend + Backend + Cloud + CI/CD)
- Deep experience with a combination of the following technologies:
- Javascript & TypeScript (React, NextJS, Recoil (other state management libraries)), Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.), HTML, CSS
- Databases: SQL (we use PostgreSQL)
- Cloud: AWS or Google Cloud experience

Compensation
The salary range for this position is competitive and will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and industry knowledge, ranging between $155,000 to $190,000 annually. Mayo Clinic's Division of General Internal Medicine in Rochester is one of the largest academic general internal medicine divisions in the world - serving as the gateway in evaluating and caring for adult patients that may have unexplained symptoms and/or complex medical conditions. Consultative Medicine Clinic (a section of GIM) provides consultative medical care to patients that reside outside of Olmsted county in Minnesota. Consultative Medicine sees new patients to Mayo Clinic for an initial comprehensive evaluation. The LPN role in Consultative Medicine includes, but is not limited to, patient visits (face to face and via telephone) review of patient health history, medication review, immunization administration, focused nutrition assessments, and blood pressure visits. Telehealth interactions may include collecting pertinent information prior to their arrival to the clinic, researching prescription discrepancies, and/or facilitating prior authorization denials. The LPN collaborates daily with physicians, nursing colleagues, and support staff.

- Follow principles of aseptic technique in performing duties during the procedure
- Perform required maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning care, storage, and calibration procedures
- Maintain adequate supplies to provide immediate availability during the procedure
Qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of accredited school of radiology
- Minimum two (2) years required; preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting
- ARRT (R), BLS required; state license as required; Specialty certifications may be required as per state guidelines and/or modality

Job Summary and Qualifications- Perform routine and specialized radiographic procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain equipment and supplies in an orderly fashion.
- Adhere to radiation safety principles.
- Adheres to the ALARA principles of Radiation Safety.
- Maintains a working knowledge of all radiographic equipment within the department.
- Performs all routine radiographic procedures and views.
- Prepares and/or administers contrast media, i.e., orally, IV, rectally.
- Provides radiation protection to patient, staff and self, according to prescribed safety standards.
- Recognizes emergency situations, initiates code procedures, and administers first aid/CPR.
- Records patient history, unusual conditions/limitations and other information such as exam time, room number, technique.
- Re-stocks supplies and maintains assigned workstation/equipment in an orderly fashion and orders appropriate supplies.
- Adjusts technical factors in proportion to patient and body part being examined while minimizing radiation.
- Performs and/or assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Performs and/or assists with radiographic examinations during operative procedures.
- Follows all National Patient Safety Goals for each exam.
- Positions patient to obtain desired views; applies immobilization devices as required.
- Attends meetings and seminars external to the department in order to maintain professional acumen.
- Assists in the movements of patients to and from wheelchairs, stretchers, and radiographic tables.
- Assists physician with radiographic procedures.
- Attends regularly scheduled meetings, i.e., staff, in-service training.
- Checks requisition for special instructions.
- Completes appropriate paperwork.
- Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation, ID band, etc.
- Describes nature and time requirements of requested examinations to patient.
- Greets and introduces self to patient.
- Identifies problems and communicates to immediate supervisor, offers solutions as appropriate.
- Keeps room/workstation neat and orderly.
- Participates in identified professional organizations.
- Participates in appropriate role in hospital disasters, fire drills, fires and other emergency situations.
- Exercises care in the operation and use of hospital equipment and reference materials.
- Performs routine cleaning and preventative maintenance to ensure continuing functioning of equipment.
- Checks all physician orders prior to performing exam.
- Performs similar or related duties as assigned or requested.
- Ability to deliver patient care appropriate to the demographics and needs of the patient population.
- Proficiency in assessing, responding, and adapting treatment to meet patient needs.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Visual acuity sufficient to work with analyzing data and figures, working with computer terminals, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and operation of machines.
- Ability to plan and perform diversified duties requiring an extensive knowledge of radiology, and the use of a wide range of procedures.
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions and respond appropriately to unexpected situations.
- Ability to work with wide variations in workload and stress levels.
- Ability to perform functions alone following standard practices for routine procedures where questionable cases may be referred when they arise outside of the normal practice.
- Associate’s degree Required
- 1+ year radiology experience Preferred
License and Certifications:
- Grace Period State of New Hampshire Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy License
- Required ARRT Radiography License
- Required Basic Life Support (BLS) Required 30 days
