Position Purpose:
Registered Nurse Clinical Lead will supervise all clinical staff and assist physicians with daily procedures and clinical tasks, and will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. The Registered Nurse functioning in the spirit of teamwork, is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.

Location: Will be responsible for three offices:
Big Run: 4310 Clime Road, Suite B, Columbus, Ohio 43228
Grove City Stringtown: 3667 Marlane Drive, Grove City, Ohio 43123
Grove City: 3000 Meadow Pond Court, Suite 100, Grove City, Ohio 43123
Hours of office: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
What You Will Do:
Oversee all clinical staff to assure policies and procedures are being followed
Assumes responsibility and accountability for care provided and documented by other licensed and unlicensed care givers as appropriate.
Thoroughly educates and explains procedures to patients and family members (diagnosis, disease process etc.)
Provides assistance with patient assessment, examinations and treatments.
Obtains medical records
Documentation: Documents accurately and completely in accordance with documentation standards, policies, procedures and/or guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Licensure / Certification: In good standing with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio
Experience: One year experience in a medical office preferred

Provides individualized, high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages. Uses a team approach to delegate and coordinate patient care at admission, transfer, and discharge. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Administers nursing care to patients; includes assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient’s care plan in coordination with the physician.

- Utilizes hospital information system to process orders/data and retrieve patient information.
- Maintains knowledge of documentation requirements needed for patients’ records.
- Works independently with limited direct supervision using the Nurse Practice Act, Mercy Medical Center policies, nursing standards, and professional judgment.
- Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance, and use (i.e., IV pumps, monitoring equipment, and drainage devices).
- Initiates emergency support measures (i.e., cardiopulmonary resuscitation, protecting patient from injury).
- Complies with OSHA/JCAHO and other regulatory agency recommendations and guidelines.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assists with clerical duties (i.e., maintenance of charge, patient record, answering phones and call lights, processing physician orders.
- Maintains patient care supplies, equipment, and environment.
- Provides orientation/education for staff, students, and other hospital and community organizations as requested.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Possession of a current or compact state license as a Registered Nurse issued/defined by the State of Iowa.
- Basic Life Support certified within six (6) weeks of hire. The acceptable credentialing body is the American Heart Association.
- Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to populations served within three (3) months of hire.
- Ability to read, write and speak English language.
- Supports and participates in departmental Performance Improvement projects.
- Attends departmental and other meetings as assigned.

Position Purpose:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Highschool Diploma or GED with 1-2 years Medical experience OR Graduate Bachelors or Associates in science/health degree BUT Graduate/Completion of a medical assistant program preferred, Medical Assistant Certification or Registration preferred, or Graduate of EMT, EMT-P, or Military Medical Corpsman training preferred.
- Licensure / Certification: MCMG Only: Nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification or Registration, preferred.
- Experience: One to two years medical assisting experience preferred. In lieu of required education, two to three years of previous medical office experience is required.
- Current BLS/CPR, and must maintain current certification
