Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking a Software Engineering Manager in Hazelwood, MO to join our Mission Planning team. The position is pivotal to the success of the Tomahawk Cruise Missile program as the team continues to grow. This position will oversee the program’s P&L as well as 15+ software engineers tasked with maintaining and transforming the Tomahawk Planning System. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

The successful candidate for this Software Systems Engineer position will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software system and subsystem engineering models utilizing Catia Magic Systems of Systems Architect throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, and safety standards for the Tomahawk program, while adhering to strict government regulations. You will have the opportunity to review, analyze, and translate customer requirements and technical specifications for stakeholder use. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing system and subsystem components and functionalities for systems integrations. Position Responsibilities:

  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Catia Magic Systems of Systems Architect, and Department of Defense Architecture (DoDAF).

  • Manage requirements, tracking, and verification for Tomahawk Mission Planning (TMP) systems change requests (CRs)

  • Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions

  • Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces

  • Develop and maintain system engineering models, documentation, and brief important modifications to key stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Hourly Pay Range:

$28.47 - $42.71 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

- Required Travel: Outpatient sites at Asian Human Services, Tapestry 360 Health

A Brief Summary:

The Outpatient Registered Dietitian, Diabetes plans, directs, and provides nutritional diabetes care through the Healthcare Transformation program, an innovative collaboration between Swedish Hospital and local Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). Through this collaboration Swedish Hospital specialty care lines will be embedded in FQHCs to reduce barriers and address social determinants of health. Provides individual and/or group medical nutrition therapy and diabetic education to patients and families or significant others to improve nutrition status and diabetes management. Works directly and collaboratively with Healthcare Transformation endocrinologist. Communicates clearly with interdisciplinary team, including but not limited to the Nutrition Director, Healthcare Transformation program, and Community Health program leadership.

What you will do:

- Plans, directs, and provides nutritional diabetes care to patients.

- Provides initial and follow-up diabetes education sessions.

- Conducts diabetes and/or nutrition education classes when needed.

- Electronically documents all aspects of diabetes care.

- Responds to Healthcare Transformation program consults for diabetes education; communicates recommendations, including planned follow-up, with referring providers.

- Participates in conferences and meetings as appropriate; represents the work unit on organizational initiatives.

- Attends special meetings and rounds as assigned.

- Assists with quality improvement audits and projects as assigned.

- Performs other duties as requested by Nutrition Director and Health Care Transformation Program.

What you will need:

- Current Illinois state license as a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist

- Current registration as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration

- Current certification by the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) preferred

- Bachelor of Science degree

- Demonstrated experience working with patients with diabetes

- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population, interdisciplinary medical team at Swedish, the FQHCs and the Healthcare Transformation program.

- Willingness to travel regularly to FQHC sites, all within a 5 mile radius of Swedish Hospital.

- Fluency in Spanish, Urdu, Hindi or Arabic a plus.

- EPIC experience preferred

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Software Engineering Manager in Swansea, IL or Maryland Heights, MO to lead our technology strategy and oversee both software development and information technology (IT) services to serve our team and meet the demands of our government and commercial clients. This leader will play a critical role in shaping the technological direction of the company, ensuring that our offerings are aligned with industry standards, government regulations, and best practices in IT management. Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the technology vision and strategy for Tapestry, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and government requirements
  • Drive innovation in software development practices, methodologies, and technologies to enhance product offerings and improve service delivery
  • Lead the technical requirements and resource allocation in support of capture activities, including proposal development and solution design
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, ensuring it supports the software development lifecycle and meets the operational needs of the organization
  • Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies and practices to protect sensitive government data and ensure compliance with federal regulations
  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, IT professionals, and technical staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance
  • Collaborate with government and commercial clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Oversee the technology budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources including vendor relationships to support development initiatives, IT operations, and infrastructure needs
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in both software and IT services
  • Identify potential risks associated with technology initiatives and develop mitigation strategies to address them
  • Manage and provide developmental opportunities for employees and mid-level managers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in software development, with a focus on government contracting and services
  • A demonstrated track record of managing technical teams and driving successful projects
  • 5+ years of budget responsibility
  • 3+ years of experience providing technical software development direction in support of capture and business development activities
  • In-depth knowledge of the entire SDLC process including software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, etc.)
  • Familiarity with government regulations and compliance standards related to software development and cybersecurity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels internally and externally
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Prior experience as a Chief Technology Officer
  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations management, with a focus on government contracting and services including government regulations and compliance standards related to IT operations
  • Knowledge of best practices in IT infrastructure management
  • Experience working within a subsidiary of a large company
