- Perform procedures such as arterial punctures, bone marrow biopsies, fluid collection, and localized abscess material acquisition.
- Initiate, monitor, and discontinue acute hemodialysis treatment, including CRRT and standard renal replacement therapies.
- Evaluate patients and prescribe treatments in the Chemo Infusion Unit.
- Provide consultative services at the patient's bedside or in the clinic setting.
- Participate in call schedules and attend Tumor Board/Cancer Committee meetings.
- Provide discharge education and follow up instructions coordinated with the next care setting.

- Must be able to perform MUAs.
- Manage a daily patient load of 16-20, with adjustable appointment lengths (15/20 minutes for follow-ups, 60 minutes for consults).

This locum tenens Physician role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule with an integrated call rotation, focusing on comprehensive patient care for new oncology and hematology referrals, managing acute leukemia, and providing critical inpatient consultations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage new patient oncology and hematology referrals.
- Oversee acute leukemia and malignant hematology cases.
- Provide hospital inpatient consultations.
- Initiate patient transfers as necessary.
- Collaborate with infusion center charge nurses regarding patient labs and treatments.
