Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care for a range of cases, including healthy pediatric patients (typically ages 7 and above, with some cases as young as age 4) for procedures such as tonsillectomies, orthopedic procedures, treatment of minor broken bones, and occasional appendectomies
  • Deliver anesthesia services across 4 anesthetizing sites (3 operating rooms and 1 obstetric operating room)
  • Participate in call coverage as scheduled, including weekday and occasional weekend shifts
  • Collaborate with the surgical and perioperative teams to ensure safe patient care
  • Monitor and manage patients pre-, intra-, and post-anesthesia
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in accordance with facility protocols
  • Provide patient and family education as appropriate


Additional Information

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Active PA license or IMLC
  • BC/BE
  • DEA
  • BLS
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year
  • Proficiency with Epic; capable of supervising APPs; comfortable with adult rheumatology cases


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide OP rheumatology care (1216 patients/day)
  • Conduct office visits, video visits, and APP supervision
  • Manage in-basket (admin/clinical tasks)
  • Perform joint injections as needed
  • Provide hospital consults by phone (05 per month during office hours)
  • Collaborate with support staff & ensure continuity of care ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Estimated Shifts per Month: 20 (flexible: 1020 possible)
  • Workload: 36 patient-facing hours/week

About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Oregon!

We are seeking a board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon, starting Apr 6, 2026. This role involves managing a diverse patient panel in a clinic setting, including active treatments and follow-up care, working 8-hour shifts. The Physician will also participate in a call schedule once a week and one weekend per month.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage existing and new patient caseloads in a clinic setting.
  • Conduct 3-month, 6-month, and year follow-ups.
  • Administer active treatments for oncology and hematology patients (approximately 70% oncology, 30% hematology).
  • Participate in call coverage once a week.
  • Provide weekend call coverage one weekend per month.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Hematology and Medical Oncology.
  • EMR System: Epic.
  • The client will consider providers who specialize strictly in oncology.
  • Ability to perform bone marrow biopsies is a bonus, though not required.
