Job Summary and QualificationsCardiac Cath Lab Tech’s demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients served. They are able to scrub and assist the physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies. Additionally, they are responsible for recording and monitoring these cases, as well as understanding hemodynamic measurements and valve area readings.What you will do:
- Positions patients and adjusts immobilization devices.
- Explains procedures to patients and addresses concerns.
- Moves x-ray equipment into specified position and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as ma, kvp, time and distance.
- Operates mobile x-ray equipment in operating room, emergency department, or at patient's bedside.
- Scrubs and assists Radiologists in surgical setting.
- Maintains and calibrates equipment.
- Monitors, records and communicates as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
- Assists with transporting patients.

- Assess, diagnose, and manage chronic disease states; develop and adjust evidence-based care plans

- 400-bed facility with a 30-bed Emergency Department.
- Primary Stroke Center and STEMI Receiving Center.
- Annual ED volume of approximately 40,500.
- Joint Commission Disease-specific Certifications in Comprehensive Stroke, Hip, Knee, LVAD, Advanced HF, AMI, Palliative care.
- Accredited by The Joint Commission for having centers of excellence in heart failure, heart attack, hip and knee joint replacement and primary stroke center.
