Cardiac Cath Lab Tech’s demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients served. They are able to scrub and assist the physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies. Additionally, they are responsible for recording and monitoring these cases, as well as understanding hemodynamic measurements and valve area readings.
What You Will Do in This Role
· Assist physicians during interventional cardiovascular procedures, including scrubbing and sterile field setup.
· Administer contrast media and medications according to age- and weight-specific guidelines and within regulatory scope.
· Start and maintain IV access; monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, reporting any abnormalities.
· Prepare patients by reviewing their medical history, positioning them, and prepping procedure sites.
· Operate and maintain imaging and lab equipment; report malfunctions and follow lock/tag-out procedures when necessary.
· Accurately document procedures in Meditech and verify imaging in PACS.
· Interpret and report test results, recognizing and correcting artifacts or recording errors.
· Handle and dispose of radioactive waste in compliance with safety regulations.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant lab environment.
· Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
What Qualifications You Will Need
Required: One of the following:
· A current license or certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) from CCI.
· OR A current license or certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist [RT(R)] from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and ARRT.
Preferred:
· Experience in special procedures, thrombectomy, and neuro.
· Minimum of one year of experience in a Cath Lab or EP Lab.
Other Requirements:
· BLS certification is required, and ACLS training must be completed within six months of hire.
· Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for effective communication with patients and staff.
· New graduates from RCIS programs will be considered.

The MRI Technologist will provide optimum patient care while performing diagnostic MRI exams requiring no constant supervision. Responsible for knowledge of cross sectional anatomy, magnetic safety, and contrast media administration, all functions performed at computerized operator console.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Graduate of a school of Radiology or certificate
• (ARMRIT) American Registry of MRI Technologists, or (ARRT-R) Radiography
• Minimum of two years experience as RT ( R )
• Specialty experience in CT, MRI strong background in cross-sectional anatomy and knowledgeable in multi-modalities

The Radiologic Technologist will provide optimum patient care while performing Radiology exams for all patients from infancy to the geriatric patient. Responsible for knowledge of human anatomy, routine positioning and specialized view positioning, technical factors and film selection, radiation safety, proper sterile technique and contrast media administration. 

• Graduate of a school of Radiology
• Associates Degree in Radiology Required
• ARRT and Texas Medical Board MRT registered or eligible for registry
• Current BCLS with American Heart Association or American Red Cross at hire or within 1 week of hire
