About the Role
Wetherill Engineering, Inc. (WEI) is seeking a Hydraulic Design Engineer to support transportation and roadway drainage projects. This role involves hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, stormwater system design, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze roadway drainage, stormwater management, and erosion control systems.
- Perform hydrology and hydraulic analysis for transportation projects.
- Develop plans for stormwater management systems, bridge and culvert hydraulics, and BMPs.
- Utilize MicroStation, GEOPAK Drainage, HEC-RAS, Open Roads Designer, and SUDA.
- Assist in fieldwork to verify site conditions.
- Support project coordination and provide technical direction.
What You Bring
- B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field).
- P.E. license preferred (or ability to obtain).
- 5+ years of transportation hydraulic design experience (NCDOT projects preferred).
- Proficiency in MicroStation, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong understanding of NCDOT Guidelines, FHWA Hydraulic Design Manual, and erosion control.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience or willingness to manage projects is a plus.

Position Description
The client is hiring a Project Manager for our Combat Mission Systems (CMS) business in Temple, TX. The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the Bradley A4E1 program management team, by managing vehicle and hardware deliveries on time and within budget. This position is full-time onsite at our facility in Temple, TX and reports to the Bradley A4E1 Program Manager. Location/Schedule/Travel: • This role is fulltime onsite in Temple, TX • The role works a 9/80 schedule where you will have every other Friday off • There may be up to 20% travel This Project Manager is accountable for all on-site program activities of the US Army Bradley post production integration efforts, including the following: Supporting the program to achieve cost/profitability, schedule, and technical performance objectives with a high level of customer satisfaction Establishing program direction and indirect management for the matrixed team executing the scope (Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Contracts, Finance and/or others) Effectively managing and integrating program complexities including multiple production elements Proactively planning for activities on the current contract. Position Responsibilities:
∙ Support airframe structural designs based on trade studies, research, and analysis.
∙ Responsible for performing detailed analysis of advanced composite and metallic structure using classical hand calculations and FE tools to develop high performance airframe structures.
∙ Perform static analysis using industry standard calculations methods (i.e. Bruhn, Roark Flabel, and O.E.M. structures manuals).

Mechanical engineers at L3Harris have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of design activities over a broad range of aircraft (both fixed-wing and rotary-wing). Mechanical engineers are responsible for developing designs ranging from the integration of state-of-the-art airborne systems into special mission aircraft to developing specialized aircraft modifications. Engineers will produce technical drawings, procedures and other documents to thoroughly define the design. Essential Functions:
- Design and liaison of aircraft primary and secondary structure utilizing military and commercial design standards, customer specifications and system requirements documents utilizing 3-dimensional CAD.
- Provide liaison to production and manufacturing for interpretation of engineering design/drawings.
- Conducting engineering drawing preparation and release within allocated schedule and budget constraints.
- Generating bids for customer requested change orders and new pursuits.
