Quality Manager

My client is a fast-growing plastics manufacturer based in Ohio, currently seeking a Quality Manager to join their team at a pivotal stage of growth. Salary: $70,000

Location: Minerva, Ohio (On Site)

Role Summary:

• Lead and mentor the Quality Control team.
• Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures.
• Analyse quality data and identify root causes of defects.
• Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with Production, Engineering, and R&D teams to improve processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers on quality expectations.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Experience in quality management within plastics manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of plastic materials, production processes, and quality systems.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methods.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyse data and drive process improvements.
• Quality certifications (Six Sigma, ASQ, etc.) is a plus.
